Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I came here for a weekend away with a group of mates, we hired out the whole place and had the most amazing time. The yurts were spacious and comfortable but you need to watch your head on the door on the way in! haha The site itself is wonderful, a smallholding farm with some sheep, chickens, geese and ducks. The latter liked splashing around in the water from the outside shower, which was warm thanks to the compost heating, very eco-friendly! Oh and if you're worried about the compost loos, don't be, they were clean and sanitary. Certainly nicer than any portaloos I've ever had the displeasure to use at a festival, i'll take a handful of sawdust any day ahaha The volunteers who worked there were all lovely people and the staff had great recommendations about where to go and what to do. The best beaches we visited were Summerleaze, Northcott Mouth Beach (for surfing) and Widemouth Bay (Pronounced Wid-muth). We're a group of surfers and it was perfect for us. There was also a beer and cider festival on just down the road, about a ten to fifteen minute walk away and we went every night. Joe, one of the owners of the Camp even did a set on the Sunday night! It was a great time with friendly people. If you want a taste of some eco-friendly fun, this is THE place to go.

We've just got home from 3 nights here and I can honestly say we loved every minute of it! The weather wasn't the best and the first night in the yurt was an experience with downpours and 50mph + winds 🤣 I thought we were going to be blown away, but actually they are soooo strong and cosy inside! We were greeted by the host, easy to contact, he showed us around explained the toilet and shower situation (which was fun! Especially the outdoor shower...amazing!) And then left is to it. We had the whole field to ourselves, my 4year old loved the space, the chickens running around, seeing the sheep and horses everyday. We couldn't have an outdoor fire the first 2 nights due to the storm, but after 2 days of exploring cornwall it was nice to relax inside when we got back at night anyway. The last night we had an outdoor fire, and it was perfect. The yurts themselves were the most beautiful things I've ever seen inside! The fire kept us warm all night, even too warm sometimes. I cant wait to go back already. My son cried this morning when we had to go home. Beautiful settings, yurts, animals and fantastic hosts. Thanks guys! We will be back!!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for the Easter weekend with another couple. We had the most amazing time in the beautiful surroundings that the site/farm has to offer; friendly animals, beautiful views and brilliant hosts! Joe and Liss made our stay unforgettable. They were always willing to help and made us feel very welcome. The yurts themselves were superb, they had everything we needed. They were beautifully decorated and super cosy for the cooler evenings. We all said it was the best we had slept in a long time! The location was also great being not far from Bude, which is a lovely place to visit, and the coast, which is perfect for surfing and picturesque walks. We were lucky enough to try surfing (attempt to) and goose eggs for the very first time - all thanks to Joe and Liss! We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

These chaps are the real deal. Joe and Liss are genuine, kind people who are fantastic hosts who really take care of their guests. We stayed in one of their gorgeous yurts for a few days in August, and had the best time! I was there alone for a couple of nights with our two small children before my husband arrived, and they could not have been more helpful - they helped me find beaches, cooked the most wonderful food, and really took time to make us feel welcome. The yurts are very cosy; we slept like logs - so much so that we want to buy one. Joe and Liss are fantastic cooks and we ate amazing breakfasts and a delicious stew. They let our friends visit and there are so many animals for the children to play with. Our kids had a fantastic time playing with other kids staying there too. Cant recommend it enough!

Wonderful stay, very peaceful. Joe was a great host and very friendly. Had breakfast and evening meal and it was lovely. I would certainly recommend this place for families, couples or groups of friends. The yurt was very cosy with the log burner.
