A lovely property, charming room facilities were spot on. Hosts were brilliant. We were extremely well looked after. Fab breakfast & afternoon cake each afternoon! This was an added bonus. Couldn't recommend this highly enough. Hosts were very knowledgeable on places of interest to visit.Easy access into Mevagissey.

Superb B&B with wonderful hosts. Accommodation is of a very high standard and spotlessly clean. The setting is peaceful and the ability to swim in the outdoor pool a real bonus. Breakfast at a table in the privacy of our room was much appreciated with a range of high quality foods (often home made) on offer. We chose daily from an inviting breakfast menu with a good choice of savoury and sweet items, which we enjoyed very much. Trennicks is a rare treat and highly recommended.

Thank you Clare and Tony for yet another comfortable and relaxing weekend. As always, beautiful relaxing accommodation with those lovely personal touches of home made cake and biscuits, beautiful views and of course Tony's superbly cooked breakfast together with their excellent home made bread and marmalade, plenty to eat and lots of choices. We always feel so very welcome by Clare and Tony at Trennicks and feel that this for us, is the best B & B in Mevigessy. Thank you from Gill and Mark

Stayed one night as this lovely B and B on a cycling trip but will definitely be back. Could not have chosen better. Superb accommodation, warm welcome and amazing views from all the rooms. Felt very comfortable and relaxed here only wished we were staying longer. The rooms are fabulous and spotless with great views. Nice surprise having a fridge for cold milk for beverages and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with a really great choice of cooked food and mussel, fruit etc. All the guests sit round a large table in a lovely dining room with great views across the harbour. Claire and Tony are so welcoming and extremely helpful and know so much about the area. What a lovely place to stay. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Superb location overlooking Mevagissey harbour, greeted with a brew and homemade cakes on arrival. Room was clean, warm and well stocked with tea coffee etc with a real plus point being the fridge in the entrance hall with real yes real milk not uht cartons so no need to balance the flask of milk out on the window cill here. Good variety of well cooked local produce for breakfast and always a slice of homemade cake on arrival back to the room after a day exploring. A credit to the hosts who seem to enjoy what they do for you in one of the few real fishing villages left on our coastline.

We spent a delightful weekend at Trennicks as a last minute getaway for my wife's birthday. This property has wonderful views of Mevagissy harbour and is a very short 5 minute walk to the harbourside. Our room "Seaview" was nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. The pool area and garden were lovely, and although the sun was shining mid-September was just a little to late in the year for swimming! The owners where welcoming hosts, with a great knowledge of the local area and were able to provide discounted tickets for the Lost Gardens of Heligan which is just a 5 minute drive away. Breakfast was of very high quality and as good as I have had anywhere. One tiny criticism would be that breakfast is served at a large table with the other guests so is always a social affair. If you wanted a quiet romantic breakfast as a couple your luck would be out, however this is just a very minor comment in what is a fantastic property. Highly recommended.

Great hosts Clare and Tony make you feel more than welcome. They wake you up with a choice of delicious breakfast and provide you with a lot of suggestions for a day out. We have stayed with them for 8 nights in the Lighthouse room and had a great time. Tony, I can’t wait to try to copy your scotch pancakes! Jan and Ellen

We stayed three nights in the Lighthouse room which was a good size, very quiet and comfy. Clare and Tony could not have been more welcoming. There is a guest fridge and delicious homemade cakes or flapjacks every afternoon. Tony’s breakfasts are excellent with homemade bread and jam and fresh fruit salad as well as locally sourced bacon, sausages and eggs. Clare is a mine of helpful information and advice. Due to the cool and wet weather, we did not swim in the pool but did relax in the sun on the balcony on arrival when Clare provided tea and brownies at no extra cost. Mevagissey is lovely and there are plenty of good places to eat - Salamander is outstanding and Roovrays was also very good. Overall we had a lovely stay and Trennicks is highly recommended. The ferry to Fowey is definitely worthwhile but you need to check if it is running as it it only runs in good weather and it only ran on one day during our stay. Charlestown (where they film Poldark) is also worth a visit and Camel Valley vineyard is definitely worth a visit although it is about an hour’s drive away so we went there on our way home.

We stayed five nights in the Seaview room (with yes a nice view of the sea and the harbour, plus views over the garden and neighbouring fields). The room was a good size, very quiet and comfy. There’s a good library of books and DVDs to choose from. Clare and Tony could not have been more welcoming. There is a guest fridge (Clare supplied ice and lemon for 6pm G&Ts) and delicious homemade cakes or flapjacks every afternoon. Tony’s breakfasts are superb, with homemade bread and marmalade, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. Clare is a mine of helpful information and advice. Despite the iffy weather, we both swam in the pool and relaxed in the sun when it briefly decided to grace us with its presence. Mevagissey is charming and there are plenty of good places to eat - Salamander is outstanding. Overall we had a lovely stay and Trennicks is highly recommended.
