10/10 is all you can give this little hotel. Staff lovely, breakfast superb, a complementary cream tea on arrival, quiet with no passing traffic, sea views, spotless throughout, easy 10 min max walk to the harbour. With the likes of Fowey and St Mawes now so expensive Mevagissey is a great location for The Roseland beaches, towns and villages. Will definitely be returning to Tremarne.

A small hotel very well run by a young and charming couple. The decoration is a little dated but smart and everything is impeccable. A very large bed in a room that is not very large but bright. Very small bathroom. Quite good restaurant. I recommend the delicious sticky toffee pudding. Hearty breakfast served by very nice employees.

Exceptionally warm welcome with a complimentary cream tea and the hospitality continued throughout our stay. This family run hotel is light, bright, clean and tastefully decorated to reflect the beautiful Cornish coast. First class breakfast to set you up for a day of exploring the local area and a delicious meal in the evening - booking advisable - great atmosphere in the bar when you have time to catch up with the other guests at the end of the day. Wes & Tam were the perfect hosts, we will definitely be returning guests.

We have just spent three nights at the Tremarne Hotel, which was one of our holiday highlights. Wes and Tam run this spotless, comfortable, friendly hotel, they cannot do enough for you. Offering cream teas on arrival is also a very nice touch. Our room was spotless, with a garden and sea view, the bed very comfortable and the thick fluffy towels pure white, Wes is the resident chef, we had dinner on our first night which was most enjoyable, the breakfasts were always good with a good choice of cooked and fresh produce. Tam has such a sunny personality nothing is too much trouble for her. They are also very knowledgeable about the local area and can advise on sightseeing and the local amenities. I highly recommend this hotel and wish this hard working couple every success, with a huge thank you from us.

We arrived late as had visited the town first, which was a shame as the hotel was lovely and would have liked to spend more time there, at the bar in the evening or sit by the pool in the afternoon sun. We had missed our 'afternoon cream tea' treat, though they were so kind and very happy to still give it to us at 9.45pm, but we had just eaten a big meal in town. So try to arrive/check in on time !
Staff were so welcoming and could not do enough for us, anything you need just ask. Very nice little welcome gifts in the room for our arrival. They really do go above and beyond to make you welcome and comfortable.
Room was adequate, light and airy, super views over the countryside and had everything we needed, even a fan in the wardrobe for warm nights. Hotel was quiet and we had a welcomed good sleep on our travels.
The pre-ordered cooked breakfast was delicious, and again the staff very attentive and friendly.
The free parking was a bonus as there is little space in the town at busy times. We walked down to the town which only took about 5-8 minutes and super views over the harbour from the clifftop. It is steep to walk back up the hill if you are unstable but we found it fine and the little side pathway was less steep that the road.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

We had such a wonderful welcome when we arrived and were pleasantly surprised to be offered a free cream tea which we had on the terrace taking in the fabulous views. The owners Tam and Wes were so friendly and done everything to make our stay great. The food was exceptional with a huge choice of freshly cooked items at breakfast. Evening meal was cooked by Wes and was really high end quality. The place was spotlessly clean and the beds wonderfully comfortable. What a fantastic place to stay, we will definitely be staying again!

Our third stay at the Tremarne and again we were so well looked after. Tam and Wes are the perfect hosts, making sure that our stay is the best. They have a brilliant team that are also dedicated to ensuring that guests want for nothing. This is, without doubt, the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It is spotlessly clean, the meals (cooked by Wes) are absolutely top quality. The hotel is a short walk from the main village, not too far, but away from the throngs of people in high season. If you are looking for a proper top-notch hotel in Cornwall, give the tRemarne a try, I guarantee you'll return! We're already booking our next stay.

This is a little gem of a place. The owners of the Tremarne were welcoming and wonderful to chat to, very accommodating, helpful and did all they could to make our stay exceptional. Such personal attention and interaction is truly appreciated. The location was wonderful, easy access to the town centre and other attractions in the area. The rooms were clean, smelled fresh, and the linens were excellent. The breakfast was very good, cooked to perfection; even with a reduced menu (mid week only) the dinner options were very tasty, served hot and promptly. We will return to the Tremarne when we travel back to Cornwall.

After a 13-mile walk on the coastal path with the last few miles in the rain and disappointing accommodation on the previous night, it was lovely to be warmly welcomed to this wonderful small hotel. My room was well-appointed, the bath was just what I needed, there were chocolates on the pillows, and I was invited to take a complimentary cream tea. Dinner was delicious, as was my breakfast. If in the area again, would definitely stay again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here which was unfortunately only for one night on 27th Sept. I would have liked to stay longer and would like to return one day. The location is great if you like views, with a nice walk down into Mevagissey. The area around the hotel is very quiet and it feels very tranquil 'up there'. On arrival and throughout our stay the owner was very friendly and welcoming. We were offered a complimentary cream tea on arrival and there were lovely little touches such as a box of chocs in our room. A lot of attention has been paid to detail throughout the hotel. We were shown around the hotel on arrival which was nice, rather than having to find things out for ourselves. All of the one way systems have been very well put in place and they are completely set up with PPE, sanitising stations, etc. Our room was small but was adequate for us, and as the garden, terrace, views and bar were so nice we didn't want to spend long in the room anyway. It was nice having the bar open so that we could purchase drinks to take out into the garden by the pool, which was a little suntrap even that late in the season. We decided to eat in the hotel that evening as the menu sounded lovely and Mevagissey seemed very quiet. We would never usually eat in the hotel, preferring to go out, but we are so glad we did because the meal was superb. Highly recommended. Everything was very tasty with attention paid to the presentation as well. The service in the dining room for the evening meal and also for breakfast was great. I would stay here again for a relaxing retreat with superb food.
