We turned up without booking but we were made to feel welcome and wanted. Without exception everyone was helpful, friendly and attentive. Myself and my parents just had a main course. The quality of the freshly caught fish was exceptional. The portions were a good size and everyt

As a woman travelling on her own I need to feel safe and comfortable. I stayed here overnight traveling to stay with friends further down in France. Food excellent, staff were friendly, helpful and the room was very comfortable. Will stay here again

For location you couldn’t get any better, you are right on the harbour. The room itself was spotlessly clean with everything we needed - tea/coffee/water, hairdryer, earplugs in the drawer also a nice touch. Room was decorated very simply and in neutral colours and a nice change

Many thanks for dining at our restaurant and leaving your feedback, we are always looking to improve our service and customer experience. It is very difficult to respond to your comments as it is unclear what time of day you ate with us and what you had to eat. Our average food service is 15 - 20 mins at lunch maybe longer if you were eating plaice or steak or if your party had ordered different meals. All of our food is cooked fresh to order so at this time of year, if we are extremely busy, you would be notified, in advance of paying for your meal, of the wait time. The cost of our meals is very reasonable with sandwiches starting at £7.50, which include chips and a salad garnish, and our highest price product is £20 which is for 1/2 a lobster & chips (although the price is dependant on weight). I'm not sure what drinks you had but our coffee is £2.80 for a latte and our alcohol from £4 per pint. If any of our customers are unhappy with their meals or the wait we would urge them to let us know, with the 100's of meals we have served this week, we have not been made aware of any such issues. Timing and good quality food at reasonable prices is always at the forefront of our business operations, and we strive daily to ensure that we consistently deliver on this for all of our guests and customers, I can only apologise that this was not your experience and I hope that the view will be enough to entice you back and give us a second try.

We are so glad that we couldnt find anywhere else open to eat when we visited Mevagissey as this place is a GEM. The staff are welcoming and friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend the Wheelhouse (and the views are lovely

Hi, Is there somewhere safe to park the car? Thank you Jacqueline
Hi Jac, I've come back from a stay at The Wheelhouse and unfortunately as it right on the quayside there is no parking. We parked on at the harbour car park which was 3 mins walk away and cost about £5 for 24 hours, but you have to go through some very narrow cobbled streets to get there. If you nervous about narrow streets and you don't have much to carry, then there are public car parks as you approach the village. One car park says "narrow streets ahead", and there is also a private car park just after that, both are less than 3 minutes' walk from The Wheelhouse. This may not be relevant but there was public metered disabled parking just in front of the B&B. Have a great trip!
