From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Sarah and David were superb, it felt more like visiting friends than a B and B. Their recommendation for the Café on the furthest south tip of the Lizard peninsula was a high point of our stay, excellent food in a very special location. If you decide to stay...

I found Caunce Head at the end of the road, literally.. that led directly onto the National Trust cliff path that goes to the left towards Kynance Cove and the Lizard and to the right towards Mullion Cove, Pollurrian Cove, Poldu Cove and onwards. The walking here was some of the most breathtaking I have ever experienced and to round...

Caunce head is a wonderful place to escape to and relax. I could happily have stayed all day in bed and read books with the wonderful views and cosy and lovely aesthetic environment. The entire house is lovely, original, bedrooms are well sized and beautifully decorated with an eye to details such as art, books, antique mix of furniture, walls...

I love it when a plan comes together! The weather held up its side of the bargain for 10 days and we met the most perfect of hosts in a remote Cornish Guest House. On arrival Sarah and David made us immediately welcome by wrestling our suitcases from us and hauling them up to the spacious and very attractive Studio...

Had the most wonderful stay . . Sarah and David make you feel like one of the family. Never had such fantastic 'customer service' if that's what you'd call it. Delicious breakfast, thank you David and a very unexpected but hugely welcome lift to our special event, thank you Sarah. The rooms were incredibly comfortably , spacious and had a...

A marvellous house, lovely, spacious room and bathroom, nice view, thick carpets! Wonderful breakfast in the garden with no wishes left. Because the German name Hartmut was too difficult for Sarah, she called him Alfred. We laughed a lot about this even after we had left. The coast path nearby with its breathtaking views makes the place an excellent point...

What a fantastic break we had, Sarah & David made us very welcome, and the breakfast each morning was superb, scrumptious fruit, & eggs laid by their chickens, just heaven! A big thank you too comes from Harvey (our black labrador) who looked forward to his sausages...

Caunce Head is a beautiful place in a truly stunning location. The whole area of Lizard is breathtaking and this B&B is 5 minutes walk from the SW coastal path. The room we had was large, lovely, bright and clean with a sea view stretching out over the countryside and St Michaels Mount in the distance. We were made to...

“Allegedly the room on the front of the house was stayed in by none less than Sherlock Holmes and mentioned in the original novel by it's author Arthur Conan Doyle.. I am half way through the book eagerly awaiting the reference.”
