Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a few concerns about going away in our caravan with the present circumstances of Covid 19 now that campsites are reopened.
We need not have worried as Sue the owner has taken every precaution to make sure her guests stay and feel safe.
On arrival we were asked to hand gel which is present in reception, also sign in with name address and contact number for track and trace. We were shown to our pitch ( which was huge ) and told which tap we should use to collect our fresh water from and reminded to wash our hands before and after use. Also where to empty grey waste and chemical disposal. Again there are notices to remind you to wash your hands before and after use.
The toilets and shower block is open if you want to use on site facilities which are spotless. Hand gel is on the wall outside and the entrance door is open. There is even antibacterial spray for you to use with paper towels and again notices to remind you to clean toilets, shower and hand basin before and after you have used it. I also noticed Sue the owner checking and cleaning them numerous times through out the day.
Everyone was very friendly and all kept to social distancing and followed all the advice to keep themselves and others safe.
We had a wonderful relaxing time with the most beautiful views.
This is a first class campsite who are taking care to look after their guests, themselves and make sure you have a lovely holiday in beautiful Cornwall 😊

This site is spotless due to the diligent owners. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful even booking us a taxi. We felt very safe here. It has wonderful views and an easy walk/cycle/taxi ride to the Eden Project.

Really loved the view from our pitch, overlooking the countryside and the sea. Located between Par and St. Austell. We walked to the train station which took 35 to 40 minutes. This made it easy to get to Penzance, lands End, St. Ives and also Newquay without moving the motorhome down very narrow roads. Great facilities, lovely warm showers. Very friendly, we felt very welcome.

From the first point of contact when I booked the site, Sue was really cheery and friendly. We had a fabulous pitch looking out to sea but sadly our temperamental fridge in our motorhome refused to work on the slightest of inclines. Sue was very accommodating and let us pick a spot where we thought we would have better luck. She couldn't have been nicer about it. The shower block was immaculate. The access to the site was trouble free. The bus stop a quick walk down the road and the footpath to the Eden Project really close and scenic. We cant recommend this site highly enough.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great time. Sue, the owner, was very friendly and helpful; the site was on a quiet road near amenities with lovely views to the sea. The showers/toilets were clean and well maintained. Thank you for a much needed break.

Annual family holiday at Doubletrees Farm in Cornwall. A big thank you to Sue for an excellent stay. The site as always is clean and tidy with stunning views out to St Austell Bay. Would defiantly recommend Doubletrees to anyone visiting Cornwall - quiet, peaceful and excellent value for money 😀

An absolute find. Such a friendly and quiet site with wonderful views of the sea. The facilities and site are kept spotlessly clean. The local beach was very nice with other gems not much further away. There is also a Chinese which had lovely food and delivers to the site. In a nearby village butchers we bought on several days running their award winning Pasties. We seriously considered staying out and not move to the second campsite we had booked.

On arrival Sue & Martin were very friendly, gave us lots of local information and took us to our pitch. We had lovely views of Par bay from our plot, a good sized hard standing pitch. The toilet and showers were lovely and clean and the dish wash area and laundry also looked very good though we didn't use them. We walked to Eden Project from the site, about 25 minutes along the road and a bridle path, you need to be wary of the traffic as some took the bends quite quickly not thinking of pedestrians. The walk to Par railway station took about 20 minutes to catch the train to visit Penzance or there is a bus stop near to the site to take you to St Austell station. Sue recommended a visit to Fowey which we did by bus. What a lovely little harbour and great places to eat and drink. lots of quaint little shops too. A great site that I would definitely visit again.

Very friendly & helpful welcome from Sue, easy to book. Lovely specious caravan pitch. Facilities very well kept. Large field to walk our dogs & easy access to bus stops which we used throughout our stay, great if you want to walk / bus one way and vice versa and enjoy a drink at the regions' pubs, local pub 10 mins walk, also excellent.
We tend to try different areas during our trips but wouldn't hesitate to return here.

We spent a few nights here last week and what a lovely site it is, views are amazing g looking over Par Sands. The site has a great shower block which is kept spotless by the lovely owner Sue. If Like us you like to set up and walk everywhere it’s a bit of a walk down to Par but we managed walking both ways stopping for a drink along the way. There is a bus service close by but we chose to get a taxi to Fowey as we had our dog with us, Fowey was lovely. We would certainly return and look forward to seeing the lovely Sue again.
