The Trewellard Arms is a great place to stop for a snack. We came across it on 20 September, after visiting the Levant Mine, and called in. We had the warmest of welcomes and the sandwiches were brilliant. Brie and Cranberry, on the freshest of brown bread, with a lovely salad. We sat outside, with a glass of red wine,...

We visit this area of Cornwall every year for two weeks and always eat at the Trewellard Arms. This year left us disappointed and didn't eat here. The menu had changed to a more "cheffy" choice of food and the prices increased to reflect that. The what was welcoming local feel to the pub no longer existed, so sadly we...

Had a seven night break locally, and ate here three times. The staff are great, fun, helpful and professional. The food is gorgeous and so well cooked, only managed one pudding lovely but huge, big enough for two. Great selection of well kept ales. Will definitely be back.

Booked for Sunday lunch again, which is a must as this place is so popular and rightly so as the food cannot be better anywhere else, this along with the lovely atmosphere and a good selection of local ales makes this a lovely pub and run by a lovely family. We make a 40+ miles round trip to eat here.Need we say...

This is a free house as it should be, full of character , good selection of beers including local ones (inc ciders) I know done people would drive straight by because it doesn't look all bistro fied, but they are missing so much. This is west Cornwall not the city etc and properties can't be maintained to the same standard.

You will not be disappointed with the portion size. Stop here if you want good service no nonsense a bit of banter and a well kept pint. Dogs welcome which is a bonus. Garden is more of an extension of the car park but tidy and pots of flowers cheer it up.

We have visited 3 times this summer and not been disappointed. Twice we had lunch and then this week we had a drink on our way home to St Ives. There is outside seating. Bar staff are always very obliging. Plenty of parking.

We ate here many times during our stay. Regularly changing special meals, great seafood and decent sized portions. The best fish and chips I have had for many years. Good selection of beers and a great welcome for our dog too!

After a much anticipated visit to the Trewellard Arms, we were not disappointed. The vegetable curry and fish and chips we ordered arrived quickly and were of an excellent standard. A great selection of beverages were also available. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. A much enjoyed visit and highly recommended.
