Ollie, my little dog and I were lucky enough to stay here recently, tucked away this gem of a hotel sits atop of talland bay with stunning sea views. Rated as dog friendly I would go a step further than this ,your dog is treated as a valued guest as well. Our room a delightfully quirky little cottage comprised of...

We had a 2 night stay booked through Secret Escapes, as a base for walking the coast path. We ate off the Brasserie menu on or first night and the a la carte on our second night. Everything about the whole experience was spot on, Right from check in to check out. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the...

We called for a last minute booking that was handled so well, we felt special straight away. This was our second visit and we found the hotel warmer and more welcoming than last time, (under different ownership in 2013). This time we stayed in one of the cottages that suited us perfectly. During a wet and stormy November night it...

Dear Somerkidz Thank you for your kind words and has you have observed and can see the hotel is under new ownership since your last visit in 2013, I was the manager here then and it was unfortunately a much harder regime not giving the staff the opportunity to provide the service we so wish. But I thank you again...

This was a very comfortable place to stay. It is in a fabulous spot overlooking the bay. The gardens were maybe a bit "quirky" for my taste (lots of off-the-wall bits of sculpture, fairies etc) but fabulous trees and an amazing view. The staff were fantastic - really friendly and very helpful. There was lots of choice at breakfast (could...

Popped in for a business lunch and ended up staying for our meeting enjoying the wonderful sea view from the conservatory. The food was delicious (crab starter and whole large plaice). Staff knowledgeable too. Friendly discreet service. Will return hopefully to stay at the hotel.
