The property has been lovingly renovated to an exceptionally high standard and the hosts are perfect in every way. there is nothing to fault we stayed in the garden room it was heaven. What a lovely B and B. Me and my girlfriend stayed in the loft room. Traveling all the way from Cambridge by the time we reached Mike and sue we were both in need of a cup of tea/coffee not only did we get this we got a lovely homemade biscuit and sat in there beautifully kept garden. The room...

We wanted a location near the Lost Gardens of Heligan. We could not have found a better spot than Valley Cottage! Sue and Mike are excellent hosts and made us extremely welcome from the moment we arrived for our two night stay in the Garden Room. The room was perfect, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had the exclusive use...

Thank you for your glowing review and apologies for the time it's taken us to respond. Heligan Gardens is indeed 5 miles away if you take the alternative route avoiding Mevagissey, however if you brave the narrow streets it's only 2 miles, but you can walk there along the cycle route or take the bus one way and walk back....

From the moment we arrived to the reluctant departure myself and my partner where made to feel very welcome. We stayed in the loft room which was nicely tucked away and tastefully decorated with a eye for detail. The local produce breakfast was second to none with a top notch sausage. Thank you again Mike and Sue!

This was a wonderful find - we stayed in the Garden Room - which meant we had a garden all to ourselves! Sue & Mike have got it spot on - a great location (scary narrow steep lanes, but that's what you're there for!) just a short stroll to the sea. The house is immaculate and welcoming, Sue greeted us...

Thank you for your great review and voicing your appreciation of what we offer at Valley Cottage, we try to provide everything that we would like to find in a B&B. We're biased, but think that sitting in the garden on a sunny afternoon listening to the birds after a busy time sightseeing is perfect. Mike & Sue

Sue and Mike are our ideal host's, we felt part of the family not long after we arrived. The Cottage is welcoming, clean and beautifully decorated with subtle collections of sea shore treasures. Short walk to Mevagissey for decent range of restaurants. An ideal location for coastal walks and exploration of local beaches and surrounding Roseland Peninsula. We thoroughly enjoyed...

After what was a short journey through the narrow streets of Mevagissey - you turn down hill to a small cove of Portmellon, Vally cottage is a 2 minute walk away once parked up at the property. We spent three nights here - wish we had time for more. Sue was the most attentive host making us feel at home...

Sue and Mike were the perfect B&B hosts. Valley Cottage is a short, brisk walk from Mevagissey where there are plenty of restaurants and bars to keep you busy for an extended weekend. Portmellon itself is a picturesque cove. The B&B is decorated with a modern bent--clean, white walls and furniture along with excellent art choices. I stayed in the...

“The hosts showed me all of their rooms while i was there and I would have stayed in any of them as they are all lovely. The loft room is bright and sunny and the garden room faces the rear garden with patio doors. In addition to the loft room There are another two rooms upstairs which would work well as a family suite with a bathroom in between them.”
