Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed overnight on the Thursday of bank holiday weekend to avoid travelling on the M5 and catching the traffic.
The staff are lovely , friendly and genuine, very helpful.
We both had the car very, which was excellent and apparently is on every night. Hubby enjoyed the Tribute beer too.
The room was spacious, a decent mattress on the bed and I was pleased to see blackout curtains to keep the room dark.
Breakfast was nice and freshly cooked.
A couple of minor things let it down for me. The road outside was very noisy all night, perhaps because it was bank holiday weekend, and I had to close the window. Had it been a scorching evening, I would have been uncomfortably hot.
The bowl containing drinking sachets had dried up drink in it, just needed a wash. There was a stain on the bedside table that would probably have come off with cleaner. The cold tap was trickling constantly in the bath. I know this would have meant taking the side off the bath and takes time. Considering everyone is struggling with staff over COVID, they are doing a great job.

Visited just the wife and I a while ago and enjoyed the lunchtime carvery, so as we were in the area again, with our daughter we decided to call in for lunch. Being a hungry bunny I was the only one to have the carvery, the ladies opting for meals from the menu, namely Scampi for the Missus and Wraps for the daughter. The carvery was kept nice and fresh by the friendly lady serving, so a pleasant conversation whilst loading the plate, then sitting in comfortable surroundings to enjoy a hearty lunch and catch up on the 'Goss' made for a very enjoyable family lunch at treasonable cost. My only criticism would be the waiting staff made no 'check backs' to ensure all was OK, not that there was any problem, but it doesn't hurt to just make certain, especially as one glass needed refilling and no staff in sight. Just a small point but an important one I reckon. Will certainly be back though as the carvery is hot, tasty and reasonably priced and very enjoyable

This place has a carvery for £10 or so, and it is very good with a choice of 3 meats. The deserts are to die for and a very large portion.
The service is excellent, and staff are very friendly.
Lots of parking. The decor is a bit outdated but that does not count compared with the good food and service.
I will definitely go there again.

The two of us stayed three nights while attending a family event in Camborne. The location was handy and the price per night very good value because the excellent breakfast was included. The glasses for fruit juice were large and latte coffee was available. Menu choices, besides full English, included eggs benedict or smashed avocado on toast with very tasty mushrooms. The restaurant was very busy in the evenings but the service was excellent and the food very good, the carvery offering generous portions (my 'child' size was more than adequate). Would give full marks but for the bedroom. Enormous wide bed (billed as a double) was comfortable except for hard, lumpy pillows in waterproof covers, and a shower room that needed a makeover. A notice on the door warned not to leave the door to the bedroom open while showering, as it would set off the fire alarm. We were awoken on the first morning at 7.10 by the alarm going off. On our final evening we ate at the nearby Treleigh Arms. Wish we hadn't. The Inn for All Seasons has much better food and service.

Turned up without booking. Was seated by friendly staff. My partner and I ordered carverys. When we went up to get it the chef didn't even bother looking up to ask what I wanted so I just went ahead and said. He was showing a much more polite young man how to cut up the meat. He did grunt a word at my partner to ask what meats he wanted. We went for all 3 meats and was given plenty. Vegetables all looked nice and was nice to have stuffing. So now for the food.... The vegetables/roast potatoes were fantastic as well as the gravy but unfortunately the meat wasn't. The gammon had a nice flavour but not texture. Turkey which is always a favorite for me was tough and tasteless and the beef, well I spent what felt like an internty chewing it. I hate to say it but Copper Coast (5 mins down the road) has much better meat (most of the time) . Their beef is beautiful. I'm heading to the Shire in the next couple weeks and if that's no good ill stick to Copper Coast.... Cheap and cheerful. All bar staff and waitresses were friendly though. Just not that chef

I stayed here for a week whilst travelling for work. This friendly little hotel provides a fantastic base for those wishing to explore the local attractions and has a number of outstanding beaches nearby.

The hotel staff were very accommodating and made themselves available whenever we needed them and provided fantastic service. The breakfast provided was great too and although we didn’t get the chance to enjoy the Carvery it looked great! Our rooms were clean and serviced daily.

Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient hotel with great service.

We hired the conference room for a business meeting and presentation and had lunch in the restaurant afterward. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff organised hot drinks in the room and showed us how to use the TV when we first got there and the manager came and checked everything was working, which it was. We asked the staff if we could pre-order our lunch and they came and took the order without any fuss and they fully catered for vegetarian and gluten free options. Lunch came out on time and was fresh, tasty, beautifully presented and huge portions. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff there. Really great facilities and it reflected well.

Have had the worst meal ever we have been using this carvery for 30 years, Just feel it may be under new ownership. The meal was cold coliflouwer cheese was sour with no taste of cheese Roast potatoes dry resterant was cold had to wear our coats, now served at the table due to current restrictions. This use to be such a welcoming place but no more.

The waitress were nice , but the roast dinner was okay the turkey was very dry and I didn’t get very much gravy at all, the gravy was quite tasteless and veg quite hard, dues to personal preference I like my veg a bit softer and it came out cold I like my meals hot or even luke warm and it was very bland nothing was seasoned, my boyfriends carvery came out warm but mine was stone cold . It’s was only £10.95 for This size which is quite a lot so good for price. And I looked at the normal menu and it’s not two pricey either, however they have a cake stand in there and they had all different types of cakes which were incredible very moist in side not dry at all, definitely worth trying there cake. It’s a very busy restaurant quite loud. Quick service for how busy they were. It’s very nicely decorated two and out side the front was nice two watch a sunset , Thank you for the staff for doing everything they possibly could though.

Visit with Family. We cannot fault the food or service of the waiting staff.
When we went to pay one member of the party was charged £24 more than another of member of the party and the only difference was that they had 2 glasses of red wine. I asked the lady behind the bar who had sorted our bill and she said that red wine was £6.95 a glass. I then asked why he they had charged £24 for 2 glasses. The lady behind the bar then said in a sharp tone its because you paid your bill separately and that she could not go back to sort it. All I can say is smile my love and be a bit nicer to your customers like the rest of your colleagues
