A classic seaside hotel re-invented. That's the ethos behind the St. Enodoc Hotel in Rock with its emphasis on comfort, design and great food. Positioned above the Camel Estuary with sweeping views across the water, it is the perfect place to relax by the sea. Leave the car and walk the few minutes to surrounding sandy beaches and take the foot-ferry to Padstow. With an endless supply of quality produce in the local area, Head Chef Guy Owen and his team will be focusing on fresh, healthy, modern recipes.

Just back from a short break between Xmas and New Year and what a very pleasant few days it was, the hotel is situated in a prime location a stones throw from the SW Coast path, beaches, cafes and the local pub, the ferry across to Padstow is also close by. The check in process was very smooth and friendly. Our room was well appointed in all aspects with very nice decor that was in keeping with a boutique feel. We ate in the hotel restaurant each evening and had the set menu each time , the menu did change slightly on each evening , the food was first class in every aspect with very attentive service without it being overwhelming. Breakfast was made to order with plenty of choice, the full cooked breakfast was excellent , service at breakfast was also good with guests well looked after. We hope to go back soon and explore the area further and hopefully get some better weather .

Great short break in November, while playing golf in the area. Staff were fantastic, always attentive and smiling, and happy to help out in any way. Estuary view room was spacious and comfortable. Evening meals were simple, but perfectly prepared and presented. Breakfasts were superb, with a good choice, and again really well prepared. Credit to the owners and staff - we will be back!

This is a remarkably good hotel in the small village of Rock. We were there for a wedding in the hotel and everything worked perfectly. Bedrooms are very well appointed and many have great views. As well as a coffee maker, they have the usual range of supplies and they give a free bag for each visit. The rooms are spotless, quiet, and reasonably large. The standard of finish is excellent. Breakfast is made to order and served by friendly staff. There is plenty of parking space and an outside pool. The wedding venue was beautifully laid out and the restaurant served some very impressive food. The next morning, the staff having worked very late into the night, the dining room was ready to serve breakfast and the staff were bright and beaming. If you are heading to Cornwall, this is a good place to stay. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Just returned from our 3rd visit and met with the same warm welcome from the ever helpful and efficient team. Excellent food, nicely appointed room (221) with comfortable bedding and view over the estuary. Lovely grounds and in a great location offering access to many coastal walks and an easy commute for Wadebridge, Padstow, Newquay etc. We always wish we had more time here.

Lovely hotel, only popped in for afternoon tea but very friendly and clean. Lovely setting, will definitely come back and stay. Beautiful garden overlooking the sea. Great service. Dogs welcome. Within walking distance for the Padstow ferry so a great base.
