Wonderful site , fantastic views of the Cornish coast and not to far from St Agnes village, pleasant scenic walks to the Beacon, and wheal Coates , and of course the coast path . The facilities were always clean and tidy. Not the most modern but totally functional. Absolutely nothing wrong with any of it, we enjoyed our stay so much we’re already plotting a return visit! Thank you Jane 😊

A beautiful site with breathtaking views. We had a hardstanding pitch for our caravan with water and drainage. We were pitched at the top of the field so we had fantastic views of the sea and coastline. The facilities were clean at all times and the addition of two family bathrooms were brilliant. They had food and coffee vans that visited over the week which always looked quite busy although we didn’t use them. They have an honesty box that contained the most incredible flapjacks, I was hoping there’d be more before we left but sadly not, shout-out to whoever made them..they were amazing! St Agnes is a beautiful little village and a great base for exploring Cornwall

Thank you for your lovely review and I am delighted you enjoyed your stay including the flapjacks. I have passed your comments on to Molly, my grand daughter, and she is also delighted. This is the first year she has done the little stall after spending time in the winter helping her dad to make the stall and getting her hygiene certificate. It has proved to be a welcome addition to the site. I hope you will come and stay again.

Lovely location and the views are great. The showers are outdated and just warm. Washing facilities ok. We only wanted to stay four of five night, but the policy is you had to stay 7nights. We did notice that there were people staying one and two nights.

Thank you for your comments. We had a problem with one of our shower water heaters last week so had a slightly limited supply of hot water in some of the showers. A new boiler was installed last Thursday so now plenty of hot water again. My apologies for this to any one who had a less than hot shower. We do a policy of booking 7 nights during August but this year has brought lots of cancellations due to the poor weather. Instead of leaving the pitches empty I have tried to fill some of the gaps with short bookings. Usually it would not be possible to stay here in August without booking in advance. I hope that you enjoyed you stay despite these issues.

Family of 4, mum, dad and two boys 11 and 8- in a trailer tent, had another lovely two weeks in Cornwall. We never stay at the same site more than once as we like to explore slight different areas so this was our first time at Beacon cottage farm. BCF is a beautiful campsite with lovely private pitches with fantastic sea/country views but this leave it open the the elements so make sure your tents and awnings are well pegged out and guy ropes in place as Cornish winds can be harsh ! Jane was extremely helpful, always returning my calls or emails promptly. We had a lovely welcome on the soggy wet day we arrived. Something I feel needs mentioning is the resident badger- we were woken up on several occasions, one being our second night to the badger under our beds try to get out, absolutely scared the life out of us, my husband coaxed the badger out and spotted a full packet of New York style bagels hanging from his mouth (the morning after we found the packet with one left in it behind our tent) we had all of our breads etc in a higear zipped up unit (zipped to the top) which the badger managed to poke his snout through at the bottom. We bought two plastic box’s with clip on lids to keep all fresh food in! we put bottles, boxes or anything with weight on the sod cloth to make sure he couldn’t sneak under. So just a warning to make sure all food is packed away well and out of badger reach. Poor Phone and 4G signal not great, you can buy wifi access though if you do need to but personally thought for the price of the site it would be included. Shower rooms/toilets were not the best we have had on sites- I’d say they were dated. Averagely clean. One thing I hate are push button showers and all showers are push buttons bar one family room and one unisex shower room. The push button showers are not warm and be aware your clothes will get wet so make sure you have something waterproof for your clothes etc while you are showering. Family room electric showers were warm and clothes stay dry. Also not nice being in a shower next to a toilet when someone is there for a number two! Never had a problem with having to wait for showers or toilet. Other useful information! We as a family would spend most days on the beach (if the weather was wall to wall sunshine) ! With two surf boards, three body boards, games and a days worth of food the local beach Chaple Porth is not easy to walk to from the site, there is a small carpark and cafe at the beach but we never drove to that beach as we thought if we were getting In the van we would try a few different beaches- loving Porthowan, Portreath (finding sea glass), Holywell bay and Crantock! The walk to the local beach is lovely though if you only have a few bits to carry and don’t mind uneven ground, it is a steep / uneven walk. We walked on the windiest day to St Agnes and back over the cliffs- we ate in The St Agnes hotel. We also go to The Track in Redruth every time we are in cornwall- so if you are into your bikes then this is a fun place!

Thank you for leaving a review about your stay and I am glad you enjoyed most of it. The badger has been a bit cheeky lately and I have put a sign up asking campers to make sure all food is secured away at night. If they do get food it encourages them to come back again! Most of our customers are delighted to see a badger close up and they do not do any harm to anyone but sorry it pinched your bagels.

Such a lovely site to stay in and the owner was very accommodating and put us in a shielded area as we had our son with us who was just about to turn one. The facilities are very well maintained and clean. They provide more than any site I’ve stayed in before. They have the little things that they have done to help people like a baby bath in the family areas. Our car broke down on the day we where due to leave and we were offered help and extra time and space if needed. I am highly impressed by every aspect. You can literally watch the sunset and look out to sea while having a cuppa.

We spent a week on site, June 23 the weather was excellent (we were lucky) Jane was very helpful and approachable. The site has been in operation for a long, long time, so everything is covered. Clean and tidy, shower block, washing machine etc. A good site to see the SW.

By far the best place me and my partner have ever stayed in our caravan , the views were amazing, the pitch was perfect and luckily when we got there we was given the best pitch on site looking out onto the beach was a dream , worth every single penny we spent ! The beach was literally a 5 minuet walk and we was amazed by the beautiful place just on our door step ! Couldn’t of hoped for a more brilliant holiday . Thankyou very much for our stay and we will definitely be back , facilities were spotless and I’ve nothing to complain about Thankyou very much

Stayed for 2 nights on this site, it was lovely, so quiet and peaceful. The views from a couple of the small fields were stunning across the bay. We stayed on the top field and it suited us just perfect. Showers and toilets were clean. Being local we will definitely make this a regular weekend choice.

A beautifully maintained, peaceful and perfectly located campsite at which it was a privilege to stay. Incredibly quiet with several camping locations to suit all tastes. Excellent facilities that were spotless and conveniently located. Great location for walks on the heritage coast, local serene and clean beaches and a short walk from St Agnes village centre. Cannot speak highly enough of this campsite.

This is a working farm campsite. Watching cows in field one side of us & a most wonderful sea view the other side. Not trying to be a posh campsite. It’s simply stunning! Lovely walks to be had from here. We walked to chapel porth beach. Little cafe here. Watched the most amazing sunset! Our Springer loved the doggy field too! It really is a field & with views of sea!! What more could we ask for!! This place is good for the soul. We will be back for sure.
