Our dog walking group booked for dinner on the 11th December. We received a very warm welcome. The food and service was above excellent, very reasonably priced and service was prompt and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We shall definitely be back, probably for Sunday lunch

What a lovely, welcoming, clean hotel. We have stayed here twice now, once in October 2019 and again in August 2020 and they won’t be our last. We really like this hotel. Nigel, Jayne and the whole team are very welcoming and friendly. You feel at home from the moment you arrive until you leave. They have really worked hard to make sure the premises are Covid friendly and we felt safe at all times whilst there. The hotel is very clean and the food in the restaurant is very good. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. There are lots of walks that can be taken from the hotel and Nigel and Jayne are happy to advise you on things to do and routes to take. If you are thinking of booking this hotel do it, you won’t be disappointed.

Great place, great people, great food, spotlessly clean, Brilliant service, great location, especially for SWCP. Great value for money. Dog friendly. Beacon House is like home from home. Lovely accommodation & local walks with stunning scenery. And Nigel, Jayne, Sam and all staff were amazing. Worse part was departing!)

Nigel and Jayne welcome you at the outset and nothing is too much trouble - you feel more like a guest in a friend's home rather than a customer!. Very smart, clean and comfortable lounge and dining room, plus Covid19 aware in all respects - especially the dining area which has the best least intrusive screens to separate tables that I have seen anywhere. The room itself was spacious with great views and made you feel really at home. Great food at breakfast and dinner plus offered Cornish gin (Tarquin's - excellent!) and Cornish white wine (great with fish). we only stayed for 2 nights and wished it was more. We will return (& I don't often say that on TA!!!)

Happy three night break here! Warm, friendly, with excellent food and friendly staff. It's near the sea and St Ives and the NT Godrevy beach too. They even did ethical coffee in our room! Thank you Nigel and family - we shall be back! Chrissy and Mic and flamingo x
