Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a lovely hotel, the staff can't do enough for you. We went on a coach trip & everything from the welcome, food, entertainment, grounds brilliant. The only thing wrong was the weather . Would love to go back in the summer if we get the chance

In the last year I have visited the hotel three times on my holidays to Cornwall. This hotel is the reason I book the Coach Holiday firm that uses this hotel. I like to travel solo and believe that friendliness and comfort outweighs any other thing that they say in awarding 'stars'. This is a true family place and I really cannot recommend this more. from grandad to grandson and including the other members of a team there this place make this hotel feel more like a local family B&B but with a lovely Bar and really good food.... Lets just say the Breakfast is epic - and I never normally eat breakfast. In the last year this place has been a refuge for me following several weeks long hour work etc. Even though I use this form of communication the fact that a lot of the hotel is so old that Internet WiFi is hard makes this place so special. I get to relax and read!!! So peaceful So moreish More power to you, Derek and family

We did a coach trip to Cornwall and stayed 4 nights at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and spacious. The shower could be a bit iffy with low flow of water but this was explained to us. The food and menus were amazing. The staff were all polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If we're ever back in this part of Cornwall again, we'd definitely consider staying here again

Nice hotel, needs updating. Very good dinner each day with a good selection of 3 courses. Cooked breakfast buffet , no continental option unless cereal and toast will do. Very friendly staff, good service. Bar well stocked, local bitter on tap. Our room in the older part was quite large, big tv, low water pressure in shower, just enough to get wet. Dining room table was reserved for dinner and breakfast, no mad scramble for tables. 20 min walk downhill to sea, we turned left just before the beach on to the coastal path for nice views of the bay.

Went on coach tour. Although the hotel is old it was very clean , bed was very comfortable. Water pressure for shower poor but to be expected due to age of hotel, this was not a problem as also had option to have a bath, plenty of hot water. Food very nice with plenty of choices. All staff were very friendly and efficient. Beautiful gardens, outdoor pool and hot tub. Well stocked bar with very reasonable prices. Would definitely return

Had a great 6 day break with Coopers at Rosemundy Hotel. The food and staff were first class. They put on entertainment for three nights which was very good. The hotel is set in a lovely setting which is very peaceful. A small walk to the village and the beach is a walk downhill which is worth it when you get down there.

We have just returned from a 5 day coach holiday in Cornwall where we stayed at the Rosemundy House hotel. We have nothing but praise for it - the rooms were clean, warm and comfortable and the food excellent. The staff continually went the extra mile and were very friendly and attentive. We had entertainment on the first three nights which went down very well
