From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Neil, we had a delightful stay at The Kimberley! We rented the studio apartment for a week while we did a walking tour of Cornwall with Martin Hunt of Adventureline Tours. The studio was spacious, neat, and clean with every amenity one could want. Neil and Sue provided an excellent breakfast - in their spacious and well-appointed dining area. The B&B is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is in an ideal location in St. Agnes. We were able to easily walk into the village for dinner each evening, and down to the cove. We very much appreciated our congenial hosts and their lovely accommodations!
What a fantastic find! The accommodation was wonderful. The rooms were extremely clean with lovely fluffy towels and plenty of tea, coffee etc supplied in the room. The breakfast choice was extensive and presented beautifully. Neil and Sue were very accommodating and very helpful. We will definitely be visiting again when we are in the area.
We have been staying at Kimberely now for many years Neil and Sue have become very dear friends to us, we have stayed in every room within their home and have had an amazing visit each time, so when we went through the reviews and read the terrible review I have to say I was horrified at what was written, these people clearly have no idea about Neil Sue and Kimberely it’s self. I just feel that the concerns they raised are completely incorrect as we stay here about 3/4 times a year every year and have had none of these issues, Neil and Sue are more than welcoming warm friendly and very kind and helpful to everyone, we have stayed in the room the couple were complaining about and it’s nothing as described, our rooms have always been immaculate warm and the towels dry by the next morning without Sue having to dry them for you, I don’t understand why people feel the need to be so cruel when there is no need to be Thank you Neil and Sue for being both amazing and friendly We would definitely recommend Kimberely to anyone who wants a beautiful place to stay!…
Thank you so much for a delightful stay with you. We loved every minute and felt thoroughly spoilt. Food was delicious and always set us up for the day. We both loved our room and the garden with all its hooks and crannies. We shall return - best B&B we've ever stayed in. Thank you again for an AMAZING stay!
We state two nights in the studio after hiking the Cornwall coastal path. Sue was a friendly and attentive hosts, text and emailing to make sure someone was there when we arrived. The studio is basically a spacious apartment with all the amenities - kitchen, bathroom, sitting area etc. Breakfast was well-prepared and hearty.
A lovely relaxing stay in this wonderful B & B. This is the second time we have visited and again found the property and hosts, Neil and Sue, to be exceptional. The property and rooms are bright, clean and welcoming as too are the hosts who do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable including help with where to go and how to get there. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Another delightful stay with Neil and Sue at Kimberley! I breathe a sigh of contentment when I return to this B & B, it is so relaxing, clean and comfortable! I have been coming to stay at Kimberley twice a year for about 13 years now. Sue and Neil have become friends! They are both so kind and helpful in so many different ways, their concern is for their guests to have a really enjoyable stay and they will do whatever they can to ensure this! Thanks a million, Sue and Neil, see you again in the Autumn!
We stayed at Neil and Sue's KIMBERELY BED & BREAKFAST for a week this past August while walking Cornwall with guide Martin Hunt (Adventureline Walking Holidays). It was a great choice because Neil and Sue are a wonderful host and hostess making you feel comfortable and relaxed in their home, fixing great breakfasts from a variety of choices, recommending places to eat dinner, assisting with transportation (so helpful when South Western Railway went on strike when we were trying to get back to London), and just being NICE PEOPLE! Their location in St, Agnes was ideal for us because there was relatively little noisy traffic on their street and was walk-able to restaurants, points of interest like the St. Agnes museum (go see it), walking trails and the beach. The huge table at which they provide breakfast is laid out to encourage conversation and sharing of travel information if one wants to participate. We really liked that design. It was fun to meet and get to know fellow travelers: Annette and Steve from Manchester (?) and Sabine and Barbara who were German gals on the walk with us. Every morning felt like a family having breakfast together. We had a big king bed in our room on the first floor and bathroom across the hall which wasn't really en suite but easily accessible and do-able. The separate bathtub and shower were very nice and luxurious. Everything at Kimberely is kept very clean by Neil and Sue. We're not sure if we'll ever get back to St. Agnes but if we do, we'll definitely stay at Kimberely B&B. Cindi&Dave…
I was so happy to be back in St Agnes staying at Kimberley! If you read my last review, you will see that I choose to stay at Kimberley even though my relative in care has moved nearer to St Austell because I just love being at Kimberley & have not found anywhere to match it. I love Sue & Neil's kindness, generosity, genuine interest & desire to help out in any way they can. I love the rooms, which are always immaculately clean, well designed & inviting. The food is always gorgeous & there is such a choice at breakfast. And the setting is great, too! I wish I were staying in Kimberley right now, rather than in a rather run down, supposed to be 3* but is anything but, hotel in Turkey!! Compared to this, Kimberley is 5* plus! Now Sue & Neil can also offer a studio room complete with kitchenette, coffee area & shower room, which is delightful & so well thought out & designed! If you stay anywhere in West Cornwall, stay at Kimberley!…
My wife and I stayed at Neil and Sue's studio flat for a week in September 2018. The studio is immaculate and completely self contained. It is equipped and furnished to a high standard and had everything we needed for our week away. It was spotlessly clean and had a fantastic shower room. The room was lovely and bright with the skylights allowing plenty of natural light in and I loved the small alcove 'coffee' area above the stairwell. The location couldn't be better as far as we were concerned with easy access to the SW Coast Path and to the village centre. As runners we also enjoyed an early morning run around the Beacon Drive Road which again was a few steps from the front door. We have been visiting St Agnes for many years now so didn't test Sue's knowledge of the area too much but it was obvious that for newcomers to the area she would have a wealth of information. The Wifi was speedy and reliable should that be important to you. This was certainly one of our best stays in the area and we will return.…
