We stayed here from the 22nd to the 25th September. Our room was very nice, everything you needed and more. dressing gowns to use, really nice towels and little extra touches like chocolate left on the tray. The fridge in the hall way for fresh milk is a lovely touch. Despite being on a fairly busy road, I could not say the traffic disturbed me at night and |I always have the windows opened. I liked the way breakfast items were selected the night before and my husband really enjoyed Bills porridge. From a covid point of view everytjinhg was spot on, hand gel, cleaning the place is spotless. Bill wore a mask while serving breakfast. If we are down in Cornwall again I would definelty stay here and would recommend to friends and family. Thanks for a lovely stay Bill and Jacqui really enjoyed our little breakfast chats .

Thank you for your review Dollycardigan! Jacqui and me are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay in these difficult Covi19 times. You were very clever to weadle the secret porridge recipe from me and I hope that it is being made correctly at home now! :-) You are lovely people, a great couple and always smiling. All the very best to you both. Regards Bill and Jacqui (Cooperage).

We have just returned from staying at the Cooperage for 7 nights. The accommodation was excellent & attention to detail made it special. The Cooperage is spotless in all areas & Bill & Jacqui are extremely friendly & welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble & they were both very knowledgeable and engaging about the area, even printing us off a map & taking the time to explain it in detail. Our room was very spacious and we had a lovely comfy extra king size bed. The room was cleaned everyday & towels & bedding changed often. Lots of lovely touches , with milk being available in a fridge on the landing for your tea & coffee & chocolate & biscuits also left in the room. The Cooperage was very conscious around COVID 19 , with hand sanitizers being available through out. The breakfast selection was really good a lot of variety to choose from., a brilliant way of ordering your breakfast for the following day was to fill in a form at your leisure & leave in reception with your preferred time. Everything was cooked to order and was lovely & hot every time. Would will return ,absolutely and would highly recommend the Cooperage to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

Thanks Travelerx61 for taking the time out to write such a good review (it's nice that our guests appreciate what we do to make their stay with us as comfortable as possible). We think that you managed to recharge your batteries while having your break here and to get such good news at the end of the stay was the icing on the cake for you. I hope that all goes well with the knee operation and that you'll be out playing football soon ;-) UTB! It was a pleasure to meet you, especially as your accent is the same as ours! All the best to you. Regards Bill and Jacqui

We stayed for 4 nights at this Guest House and thoroughly enjoyed being there. The hosts, Bill and Jacqui, are very friendly and welcoming; our room was clean, airy and spacious and had lots of small touches to add to our comfort, such as tea, coffee etc with biscuits and useful personal care items in bathroom.

Good nights sleep in huge bed and set for great choice at breakfast.

Situation is excellent for exploring all sorts of places locally and a bit further afield. Would seriously recommend this as a first class place to stay when exploring Cornwall.

Our room was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Just outside of St. Austell, after a great breakfast we could easily travel, with the likes of The Eden Project, Charlestown and Fowey all very close. The best part of the stay at the Cooperage however are the hosts Bill and Jacqui. Very friendly, enjoyed our chats in the morning and added a personal touch that added to a very enjoyable trip.

If a 5 star rating were an option this would tick all those boxes too,
Very welcoming owners .
Better service than some 4/5 star establishments we have stayed wit.
Friendly, informative, knowledge of all attractions ,
We arrived in the covid 19 restrictions
Every precaution was adhered to in every way. The rooms were huge cleaned to perfection not a spot of dust , bathroom very clean ,looked like its never been used ,
The bed was massive and comfy i had to do hotel inspecter bit, 100% clean no complaints what so ever,
Room equipment and sundries 100%
Breakfast proberly the freshest top quality and so much choice , The porridge is creamy and 5 star rated ,
I could go on about this place like I was the owner on a sales pitch, but no I'm 100% visitor , never have I ever been so pleased to stay in such clean B&B.
The price of stay was very reasonable
Everything was 5 star rated and I would have expected to pay a lot more for such.
Well done Bill & Jacqui, guarenteed we will recommend your hospitality to the world.
Pete & Denise

Many thanks to Bill & Jacqui for being such wonderful hosts throughout our 5 night stay at Cooperage. High end, spotlessly clean accommodation with every thought given to comfort & detail. The Breakfast Menu was first class with various choices including Full English or vegetarian breakfasts, poached smoked haddock, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on toast/muffin/bagel, as well as the usual cereals, yogurt etc. Bill & Jacqui could not have been any more considerate or attentive to our needs. With many attractions within close proximity we were spoilt for choice in finding enjoyable things to do. We would highly recommend Cooperage to anyone wanting the perfect B&B to explore the many delights Cornwall has to offer. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Host very welcoming and helpful, accommodating requests, providing extra mid afternoon coffee when we were stuck indoors because of weather. Room and bathroom were comfortable, of a high standard, and very clean. Shower was spacious, easy to use, with hot water immediately available. Lots of towels provided, and changed. In-room refreshments and nearby shared fridge for milk and water were appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. Location was brilliant for the two visitor attractions Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan which we wanted to visit. Landlord's guidance to book meals ahead with suggested options was very helpful
