Paid £90 for a room and the only window is 'whited out' so you cannot see out. Asked for a room with a window but they could not move us. Checked in at 6:30 and had a drink in the bar at 7 and went to the restaurant to view the menu only to be told no tables available until...

went for a valentines treat after winning a raffle prize (yes really) the room was amazing, the spa was lush. we were booked in for dinner but we weren't overly impressed with the meal. breakfast was lovely and we would stay again but possibly not eat. Its hard to believe your practically 5 minutes drive from st austell town.

Brilliant! Room was sensational, staff were helpful and on hand at all times of the day and night, even after we found ourselves stranded without a taxi after one too many wines at the various vineyard tours we'd done that day! Gorgeous views and very easy to find. Very modern and clean rooms which were serviced regularly. Would definitely come...

Staff went the extra mile to help my wheelchair user wife get access to their pool. They did have a hoist but it had not been used so they got it serviced on the second day of our stay. Thank you to all staff. Room very good but no wet room facilities but excellent assessable shower in the spa

Room was good size and well furnished, with great open view and balcony would be great in good weather. Desk and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful, Dinner was good - bar service a little uncertain! Breakfast faultless. Spa facility and pool excellent, spa staff professional but friendly. Comfortable accommodation, clean, spacious and well presented. Wi-fi in the room and staff who are genuinely helpful and eager to please. The food was very good and reasonably priced. A great base from which to explore the area. I would be very happy to go there again.

I recently stayed here for one night with my wife and six month old boy. The hotel is set in lovely grounds minutes away from St Austell itself. The rooms are very spacious and clean and have everything you would need. Great service from reception staff right through to the friendly bar and waiting staff. We used the pool as...

We have stayed at the hotel before but never in the woodland lodges. They were modern, clean and comfortable. All the usual things like tea and coffee with fresh milk in the fridge. Bottled water, fudge and shortbread was a nice touch. Beds were comfy but would have liked a TV in the second bedroom. Overall a fabulous two day...

Thank you for your comments. The lodges offer a more relaxed hotel experience, with as little or as much engagement with the hotel, grounds and spa as you like..seems you did all of that! See you again soon. JLF
