Wow this hotel and its staff are outstanding! We had a three night stay for a short break and enjoyed most of the facilities on offer, the spa and the grounds were amazing. We had a small mishap on our second night but this was quickly rectified and the staff went above and

Often pop in for an afternoon tea when we're around - nice scenic walk from Charlestown on the cliff path. Very large, comfortable lounge where we sit for several hours having drinks and cream teas, occasionally going outside to brazenly cheat at the mini golf on the lawn. Often

I wanted to visit the Eden project and choose Carlyon Bay because it was close to Newquay airport and the project and seemed like a great hotel and Spa. We live in Lancashire and as we were on a mini break I chose to fly down which was brilliant and took just 40 mins with flybe.

Thank you for your 5* review! We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your recent stay with us and the convenience of location to both the Eden Project and Newquay airport. We are very lucky with our location being on the Cornish Coastal path and a short walk from Charlestown. I am sorry you had to move due to 206 not having a walk in show. We do have Deluxe rooms available with walk in showers please accept our apologies for not having 1 available during your stay. Our toiletries are still currently plastic however we are in the process of phasing out plastic all together. The cups provided in our spa are however not plastic. These are actually Vegware. They are made from vegetables as are our straws which get put into our food waste and recycled. It is great to hear you enjoyed both the service and the food. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer services. Our management team and staff will be pleased to hear such great feedback and kind words for all departments. We hope to welcome you back in the new future. Kind Regards CBH

No there are no irons in the room, there are no trouser presses and not all rooms have fridges/mini bars. But if you contact reception prior to you arriving or while you are there they will send irons and boards up to your room, also if they have a mini fridge available they will put it in your room. You just have to ASK Hope this helps :-)

Yes you can do that but corkage tends to be almost the price of a good house wine, save some space in your car and get a bottle or two from their very good wine list.
