My family and I spent a week in Tregongeeves and we can hardly forget it, especially all my children. As Spaniards, we are not so familiar with this type of accommodation-farm and my children greatly enjoyed being able to feed the animals, having an indoor pool and jacuzzi available to ourselves and the indoor and outdoor play areas. Judith and John are the soul of Tregongeeves and are always aware that their guests have all the necessary comfort. Our stay at Tregongeeves will long remain in our fondest memories.

Hi there So pleased you enjoyed your week here with us at Tregongeeves, especially as you were without a car. Tregongeeves is ideally situated with the local facilities at Polgooth all within walking distance. I am sure the children enjoyed collecting their fresh egg for breakfast. Will pass on your comments to the housekeeping ladies. Farmer Judith

Our family planned a trip to Cornwall from the USA and booked a cottage at Tregongeeves. We are so happy that we did. We enjoyed an idyllic weeklong stay in Quakers. The cottage is kept up really well and nicely furnished. The cream tea, eggs, breakfast meat, and milk provided upon arrival was much appreciated after traveling so far. We picked up some local grocery items from Judith's daughter's nearby store but there are the major supermarkets close by too. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals and we used the grill as well. The laundry machine came in handy. The chest of beach toys is lovely, we borrowed a few items for our forays to various beaches. The playroom was used a lot after the day's sightseeing activities and the indoor pool is great for all weather conditions. Our kids loved the feeding the animals and collecting eggs in the morning with Judith. We walked to the nearby Polgooth Inn for dinner one evening but made most of our meals in the cottage. We found Tregongeeves to be an ideal location to explore much of Cornwall. There is much to do nearby within a 30 minute drive, but we made it to further areas as well. The St. Austell train station is very close with ample parking. The guidebook that Judith and John have put together was informative and helped us narrow down what we saw.

Last year, we had a wonderful week as Granny & Grandpa, taking the children to Tregongeeves. This summer, we returned on our own accompanied by a very old (or longstanding!) friend. And it was just as good a break for grannies as for kids. As others have written, the cottages are beautifully & comfortably designed and equipped, with cosy beds and seating. But, in addition, our main wish was to be able to swim daily without freezing in the sea. Tregongeeves" pretty indoor pool, with its big glass wall onto the garden, was perfect. We really appreciated that each cottage gets to book its daily hour in advance, so it's tranquil and private swim. And a quick spell in the hot tub was just the icing on the cake. And we loved taking breakfast leftovers to Ronnie the pig, and seeing the clutch of newly hatched chickens, just as much as the children did. If you want to explore further afield, the location is a good central point for a range of beaches, gardens & houses - but you can return from the tourist bustle to country peace, with an excellent pub - the Polgooth Arms - just down the road for eating out. It ticked all our boxes and big thanks to Judith and John - and Charmaine - who give such a warm welcome that it really feels like home from home for everyone.

What a wonderful place to spend a holiday. Our boys (age 1 and 3) thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The cottage was perfect.. I felt like we could relax (not always easy with two wild boys 😉) and Judith and John had thought of everything. So much to do.. I wish we could have stayed for another week. We don’t tend to go back to the same place but I would definitely consider coming back here and I understand why so many people do. Thank you for such a lovely holiday xx

Thank you so much for the glowing review of your weeks holiday in Gallery. We are so lucky to have a wonderful team here to keep the cottages and grounds up to a high standard. I enjoyed the pleasure the boys had from animal feeding, sitting on the old tractor and carrying their egg back for breakfast. I certainly hope I will see the boys and their parents again!

We just completed our 3rd visit in 3 years to Judiths and Johns cottages, and it was as incredible as ever. It's not just us; even the couple next door was on their 6th visit, and the family in the Gallery Cottage was on their 11th! It's truly a testament to the exceptional experience this place offers. First and foremost, the cottages themselves are maintained to an excellent standard. You'll find everything you need and more. It's the little extras that truly make a difference. For instance, they provide umbrellas by the cottage door, just in case, although this year we were blessed with wall-to-wall sunshine and didn't need them. Additionally, they go the extra mile by providing BBQ bags of coals, conveniently waiting for you to use right out of the box. In the kitchen, they've thought of everything. From a proper-sized washing-up liquid to dishwasher tablets, tea bags, olive oil, cling film, tin foil, sugar, salt, and pepper, they have it all covered. The recreational room, where you can borrow various items. From soft toys to books and DVDs, you're free to enjoy them during your stay and simply return them at the end. The swimming pool is also fantastic—a perfect size for both splashing around and enjoying a refreshing swim. But let's not forget about the farm, which we all adore. The friendly pig always greets you as you pass by, and if you happen to have any fruit or vegetable scraps, you can keep them to feed her. There are also the chickens, whom you can feed and even collect eggs with Judith in the morning. Gary the goat is an absolute delight and loves receiving attention. The two Shetland ponies are equally fond of being petted, and you can even brush them if you'd like. And then there are the three lovable donkeys who can't resist a carrot treat. Last but certainly not least, there are the three sheep. Judith guides everyone in helping with feeding and fussing over the animals, which is an experience both children and adults thoroughly enjoy. On top of all these wonderful amenities, Judith's knowledge of the area is invaluable. She can recommend the best places to visit and the most picturesque beaches to explore. It truly is the full package—a beautiful location, charming cottages, delightful farm animals, and, of course, the wonderful hospitality of Judith and John. Please do let us know when the bookings for next year open, as we can't wait to secure our spot once again. Thank you for providing us with such unforgettable experiences!

We recently stayed here for a week with our toddler and her grandparents and we all had an absolutely fantastic time! Trip Advisor tips for a 'good review' say "share the good, the bad, and just OK", but to be honest there was literally nothing bad or OK - it was absolutely perfect! The accommodation itself is brilliant and has literally everything you could possibly need for your stay away (including a swimming pool which you can book for your exclusive use!) Our daughter loved feeding the animals, playing in the play room and with the outside toys. There are some really lovely beaches very close nearby and let's face it, the rest of Cornwall sells itself. Honestly, one of the best holidays we have ever had in a fantastically presented and really well run establishment. Highly recommended!

We've just returned from a week long stay in Lovedays Cottage and it could not of been a more perfect week. We've struggled to 'nail' the family holiday so far, often compromising on something, not anymore. Tregongeeves Farm Cottages have everything covered. Firstly, the cottage itself is a really high standard, the bed (often a gripe) is incredibly comfortable as are the sofas. Care and attention has gone into furnishing each room making it a relaxing space to spend time in. We really enjoyed having sole use of the pool and hot tub for hour long slots, our daughter is only 20 months old so having a calm environment for her to splash around in was hugely valuable to us. The soft play room is very well equipped, the adults enjoyed a quick game of table tennis upstairs too! Our daughter enjoyed feeding Ronnie the pig, watching the chickens run around and saying hello to the horses each morning. Finally, the location. We've just had 7 active days and whilst we choose to have a day out to Polzeath (45mins), you wouldn't need to drive more than 10-20 minutes for the majority of beaches and excellent walks. We happily took Judith and Johns recommendations (on their site) for most of our days out and we weren't disappointed. There's so much to do in this area and we didn't quite tick everything off, so we'll have to come back! Would highly recommended to anyone looking for a luxurious family holiday.

What a wonderful place to stay with a toddler! Absolutely everything that you need is provided. Th e play barn, pool, animals, Wendy house and ride on cars are lovely for filling quiet times or rainy weather (not that we had any). We had such a lovely time that we hope to return next year for two weeks this time as a week wasn’t long enough! Judith and John went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and have thought of all the little details for a comfortable stay. We ordered some food from Judith daughter’s farm shop which was delicious. An ideal base with lots of walks, beaches and attractions a short drive or walk away. Can’t wait to come back again.

Just returned from a 5 day break with my husband and 2 year old daughter and we loved it! he place is run by John and Judith who are both lovely, always happy to have a chat when they are around. Just before our holiday, Judith contacted us to upgrade to a bigger cotttage as it was available and was nice of them to offer the change! When we arrived at the cottage we found a cream tea waiting for us which was a nice welcome treat! Judith and John leave next to the cottages and we didn't feel we (or them) were disturbing one another. Judith is always happy to suggest places to go locally, making good reccomendations on the area. They have different animals that you can go and feed which my daughter loved to do. What we valued the most was that you don't need to go anywhere if you have kids as they have a shared play room with an area dedicated to little ones with soft play, but also other games for the grown ups upstairs. Also swimming pool and tennis court to entertain. We feel we made the right decision when booking Tregongeeves and we definetly will come back!!
