A large family-friendly Club campsite near the Cornwall coast boasting excellent facilities, including an heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, crazy golf , playground and ball game area. In the nearby town of Looe you can enjoy fish and chips while watching the boats in the working harbour or looking out to Looe Island and also go crabbing from the quay or rock-pooling on Hannafore beach. There are numerous safe, sandy beaches to choose nearby while the Cornwall Coastal Path runs close to the site. The Eden Project is also within easy driving distance and offers a great day out for all ages.

Typical of most C&MC sites, this was spotlessly clean & very well run. The shower block is cleaned daily between 2.30-4pm with a loo available if needed. The outdoor swimming pool was 28 degrees and very inviting on the warm days although there were no sun umbrellas up while we were there. The shop sells the basics you need plus delicious lemon drizzle & fruit cakes. There are separate dustbins for recycling & general waste & they are well labelled. The bus stop into Looe/Polperro or Plymouth is just a 5 minute walk from the gate. We walked into Looe several times (& back - up the hill). One alternate route is to go down to Millendreeth & then follow the coastal footpath.

Been here many times and my only complaint would be that the pool was closed, some of the grass pitches were in a bad way and still in service and toilet block wasn’t always as clean as it should have been (wardens are normally very thorough with cleaning) we noted a dirty mark on one toilet that was there for 5 days. The site is in walking distance of the Coddy Shack fish restaurant which is well worth a visit and booking days ahead is essential during busy times. Would also recommend Sunday lunch at the Copley Arms which is a short drive away. You can catch a bus outside the site or at the Looe Bay Site and go to Looe, Polperro, Plymouth and more. It is £3 single (can purchase return) and if you are quite mobile I would recommend walking in and busing back. The site has a good play area, crazy golf and tennis court for which you can borrow equipment.

Amazing facilities and everything you need for a great break away. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming on arrival and during our stay and the site was spotless. The private pool amazing with your own sun loungers and the crazy golf on site was also very fun. Easy access to Looe and Polperro. It's a 8 minute drive down to Looe and you can walk it but will take around 45 minutes and the hill to climb on the way back. There is a bus stop situated right outside the site on the main road to take you down to looe. Some loverly beaches nearby with plenty of parking such as Seaton beach. Definitely recommend visiting this campsite and exploring the beautiful area.

It’s ok nothing special typical club site rules and regulations, what I did find quite off putting was a sign which they clearly put out at the entrance saying if it’s not after 1pm drive on…they do not allow you to enter before 1pm we didn’t we were later but had I arrived and been greeted by the sign I’d have been put off, yes it clearly stated check in 1pm but these sites need to have flexibility to people who have picked this site for a holiday some will have travelled hundreds of miles like we did…toilets shower block are closed from 10.30 until midday how ludicrous when your on holiday sometimes you don’t want to get up early and go for a shower early if you don’t after 10.30 it’s over until lunchtime again doesn’t seem to be any flexibility and no throught for the paying guest. Bins, everything goes in small bins with black lids no sorting or recycling a sign states this is done at source which will not happen! correct recycling needs to be in place here and quickly I’m no eco warrior but we all have a responsibility to ensure we recycle as much as possible. That said the site is tidy staff are friendly, club sites are very overpriced considering it’s very basic no club house better independent sites exist, I shall use my membership this year but cancel when due renewal, would I return here defiantly not far better in Cornwall ! Oh and the bus stop into Looe is no longer outside the gate it’s further down the road 5/10 walk down the lane ok if you are able but not for the less so..

Just finished a wonderful week in sunny Cornwall and the site (despite no pool as social distancing measures in place) is as lovely as ever.
The site has some fantastic vendors for takeaways who visit regularly and the facilities and sea views are first class.
Wonderful walks and beaches are on your doorstep and the site is very family orientated and dog friendly. However it is the wonderful wardens who make this site what it is and they have worked tirelessly to keep us all safe with the facilities absolutely sparkling. No mean feat on a site of this size. Always with a smile and a kind word for everyone.
Thank you most sincerely. Sea view Photos from the great beach nearby which is a 15/20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive.

We choose this site because it’s family oriented. It’s in a great location not far from the Tamar Bridge. Great wardens and very well run even in the height of the season. Full credit to the team. The site enjoys the following, heated pool, not this season sadly as they were unable to employ a lifeguard, tennis courts, crazy golf and play area fir kids of all ages. Lots of kids riding their bikes and having great fun. Ice cream van daily visits and pizza hand made Monday and Thursday Places to eat nearby, Cody Shack, walking distance from site, excellent fish and chips. Great Chinese takeaway just 5 minutes drive and you can park outside, called Ocean Dragon. Supermarkets at Liskeard just 10 minute drive. And allegedly you can walk to Looe in 35 minutes details available at reception for a 10p donation to charity Very much worth a stay but door book well in advance to avoid disappointment

We found this to be an excellent site, with friendly helpful staff. The facilities are clean and tidy with hot showers. The bus service into Looe and Polperro is directly outside the site and I would recommend the moderate coastal walk from Looe to Polperro, absolutely stunning with a cafe to break the walk at Talland Bay.

Stayed for 6nights having read some recent reviews not too good I thought I would reserve judgement . Unfortunately I have to agree with some comments Grass pitches. Nightmare for sloping we used largest blocks which still didn’t level next morning they had just sunk into grass managed to move to hard standing . Had to pick up sharp plastic rubbish off pitch , children filling caravan water containers but deciding to have water fights . Couldn’t even get essentials from shop it was empty had to go to shop on other site. Toilet and shower wrist band system didn’t work . Have stayed at independent sites since re-opening and a lot more effort has gone in to making sure facilities were open ie shop outdoor pools and staff far more helpful . Not really sure what the CCS are spending members money on ,disappointing visit

This was our first trip ever in our new motor home and must say that the service we received from starting on the phone to arriving on site. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. They work endlessly and the site is very clean and tidy. The dog walking area is a large area for your dog to have freedom and a run.Our pitch number was 135 hard standing and was a brilliant spot for us as the dog area was opposite There’s 3 routes to walk into Looe which the staff inform you of.We used Sarah’s taxis and bridge taxis as it suited us. We will most definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay here, but we had been pre-warned to get to the end a long way from the play area and the noise.
We did exactly that.
Had a lovely time.
Very quiet.
Spotlessly clean.
Good covid policy. Like most CAMC sites with wristbands outside the shower blocks.
Plenty of hand sanitiser too.
Polite and helpful wardens.
All in all, we loved it.
Will definitely return.
