Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic little site. Very quiet and relaxed. Trevor and his wife are so friendly and welcoming. Spacious pitches and fairly level. Great showers, well stocked shop for a small site and visiting food outlets on various nights of the week. We will definitely return if down this far south in the future.

Room Tip: Road is a little narrow for the last half a mile but we never had a problem even towing the caravan

Had the best weekend, helped by the warm weather! The park is so peaceful and welcoming. The facilities on site are first class, very clean and tidy. The staff are great and make you feel at home. Would definitely recommend it. Looe is only a short drive away and dog friendly Seaton beach with its pub, which is very friendly and has a doggy menu is a few minutes drive away too.

I cannot say enough good things about this caravan park. We stayed in a beautiful very equipped static home. In the van we had a welcome tub with tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Washing up liquid and scourer. My favourite was the large bag of crisps and chocolate teacakes. Beautiful well kept site. Very peaceful. We wanted to walk the coastal path but got lost. One call to the owners of the campsite and we were soon on our way in the correct direction. Only 10min drive to Looe town from the site. We enjoyed sitting on the decking watching the sun go down. 100% recommend this caravan park from the owners to the site itself.

The site is clean and well cared for. We never had a long enough EHU lead, but Trevor sorted straight away and lent us an extension lead. He walked around the site first thing in the morning and last thing at night to ensure everyone was okay. The facilities are kept clean and well stocked. Geraldine is helpful and always had a smile on her face. This site is a real gem and so pleased we found it. Trevor even put extra pegs in our tent during Storm Antoni while we were out.

We stayed here for 5 nights camping, during storm Antoni. Trevor who is the warden went round to put extra pegs in tents to make sure they were ok. Our tent survived the storm. The people there were lovely, made some nice friends. The site is clean and well maintained . Will definitely come back here again.

I spent 3 nights in a static caravan here. The caravan was immaculately clean, well equipped and exceeded my expectations. The site is well kept & lovely & quiet. Lovely views and some wonderful sunsets. I would recommend this site to anyone who likes a peaceful stay. Geraldine was the perfect host. Not intrusive but there if you need her

Arrived later in the afternoon for our 2 night motorhome stopover. Some quite narrow roads to navigate but plenty of passing places. First thing we did was check in, we were given an information sheet regarding amenities/gate codes/ Wi-Fi password etc We filled up with water then we’re shown to our pitch, which was very close to the toilet/shower/laundry and washing block. We booked a hard standing pitch with EHU. The pitch was fairly flat, only needed to use the small chocks to level us up. We were then given a large rope to put across the pitch. This was to stop people from walking across as a short cut (certainly worked) We stayed onsite for the first night as the weather wasn’t great. Lots of rain during the night too. On our second day we ventured to the bus stop and caught the bus into Looe itself. Around a 10/15 minute walk and a 10 minute bus journey. We spent the day wandering round Looe and visiting researched places of interest! Drinks had and a traditional Cornish Pasty purchased for our meal that evening. Taxi firm back to the site as recommended by site owner An enjoyable stay at this lovely family run site.

We spent 6 nights here and thoroughly relaxed in this quiet rural site. It even smelt sweet of nature, grasses and wild flowers. Everywhere was well kept and clean, the wardens very helpful and knowledgeable on where to go , what to see and the wildlife on site. The Birdsong ! Hadn't heard skylarks for a long time. And best free WiFi. Thanks, would love to return one day. We were on lucky pitch 13 and blessed with lots of hawthorn blossom raining down on us but as we had fantastic dry and sunny days, that was no problem.
