We stayed at Trewornan Manor last week for 3 nights in 'Trevone ' it was a beautiful room , as with all the Bedrooms it has an Emperor sized bed which was a delight . Paul was the perfect Host ably assisted by Jess , nothing was too much trouble , Restaurants / Taxis were all Booked for us . Returning in the afternoon , gorgeous cakes / biscuits were laid out , all baked by his Mother . In the Evening it was so nice to sit by the Wood Burner before our Taxi arrived enjoying a Drink from the Honesty Bar , all the places to eat are in close proximity . We have already Booked for 2025.

We try and get to stay here at least once a year, it is consistently outstanding, with comfy rooms, great breakfasts as well as excellent afternoon tea with cakes baked by Paul's mum, Paul and Jess also provide a concierge service for restaurants, taxis and places to visit, Book early to avoid disappointment......we have for next year,

My husband & I have just returned from a three night stay at Trewornan Manor. Our beautiful room, Trevone, was immaculately clean with a very comfortable emperor size bed, a beautiful view of the garden, and the en suite had all the products you could wish for. We loved the sweet treats too! The Manor House is very tastefully decorated throughout. Tea is served, with a choice of tasty cakes, by a welcoming fire on very comfy sofas. The honesty bar is also a lovely touch. Breakfast was very generous and absolutely delicious with so many choices. Thank you to our extremely helpful host, Paul, and his amazing team. We will certainly be returning and highly recommend Trewornan Manor to our friends.

What a treasure of place! Driving up the long pebble drive you know you are in for a treat. Paul met us in the courtyard to welcome us for our stay. He took us through each of our rooms explaining the uniqueness to each. We were offered tea and pastries after settling in. He booked dinner for us one night, suggested a lovely walk as that was the focus of our trip, offered us change for the car park. He and his staff truly think of everything a guest could need. The Harlyn room was so cozy outside in the courtyard area. The grounds are lovely, especially for afternoon tea following a long walk. Breakfast was a feast in a beautiful, quiet dining room. This was bar far the nicest lodging we stayed in during our two week trip around Cornwall, Devon and Dorset.

Perfection! This gorgeous updated historic Manor House set on 25 acres is visually beautiful and the setting is tranquil. All the amenities were geared to provide you with the feeling of being pampered; the delicious breakfast, the homemade cakes for afternoon tea, the honesty bar, the exquisite rooms, the emperor sized beds (huge), the cozy robes set out for you and not to mention the ultimate concierge service. The hosts/ owners Paul and Lesley and their staff, Jess, are warm, welcoming and attentive to their guests…. in an understated manner. All I can say is yes, I highly recommend staying here and yes, I will be returning. The whole experience was sheer perfection. Thank you for everything……

We absolutely loved staying at Trewornan Manor, the long sweeping drive to the courtyard full of colourful pots and twinkling lights, a feeling of tranquility away from the crowds! As most people have mentioned in reviews, it was very nice to be welcomed with tea and a lovely selection of cakes. We stayed in Porthilly which was very clean and comfortable, the Emperor size bed and good quality bed linen made for a good nights sleep! Breakfast was a delight with a choice to suit anyone who enjoys a good breakfast, we had the fry up one day and smoked salmon scrambled eggs and poached eggs with mushrooms the next. The house sits in lovely gardens, which had the weather been a little kinder we would have enjoyed spending time in. We look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful Manor House, elegant and charmingly restored by the owner. Paul & Jess were wonderful hosts...there when you needed them to book restaurants etc and full of information. From the moment you arrive peace and quiet descends, if like us a much needed rest was required we had found the right place. From the wonderful huge beds to the very tasty Tea & Cake everything was perfect. Breakfast amazing especially my boiled eggs and sourdough soldiers, however the best thing was definitely the Jelly Babies! We will be back.

We liked everything about Trewornan Manor from the time we drove up to the building and parked the car. It just felt good straight away. The trend continued when we went inside and met the owner/manager Paul Stapleton, whose easy-going amiable manner and quiet efficiency made us feel immediately welcome and 'at home'. Our extremely comfortable and well-appointed room was attached to the main building with its own front door, giving us an added sense of homely privacy. The room rate included a delightful afternoon tea with home-baked cakes, and an unbeatable, varied menu breakfast in the morning. With easy access to nearby places and top-rated restaurants to visit, and nestled within beautiful garden grounds, the very attractive Trewornan Manor is an ideal base for exploring this northern part of Cornwall. We would go back to Trewornan Manor in a heartbeat.

Hi KeithBarbados, Thanks for your review and for taking the time to write. Thank you too for coming to stay. It was lovely to meet you both and we hope you enjoyed your extended stay in Cornwall after your visit with us. As I always say in these reviews I can take no credit for the cakes or breakfast, that's all down to Lesley and Mum :) Thanks again and kind regards Paul.

A unique historic property in a wide park. The rooms are individually decorated with love for detail and all modern comforts. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner and host. There were various homemade cakes for tea. The breakfast didn't leave any wishes unfulfilled either. A very special highlight on our Cornwall trip.

Our 2 night stay at Trewornan was arranged for us as part of a 12 day self drive tour of SW England. It was by a very big margin the best accommodation we stayed in. In a beautiful garden setting, the building is grand and wonderfully restored. Our room was amazingly spacious, luxuriously furnished and extremely comfortable. Everything about Trewornan was first class. From the home made cake provided in the afternoon , the warm fire in the lounge with the honesty bar to the sumptuous breakfast. All faultless. Paul, the owner was a wonderful host. He helped us arrange nearby dinner reservations and taxis and also a laundry service for us. His patience and hospitality was greatly appreciated. Trewornan manor gets our highest recommendation. Robyn and Rod
