Second visit, this place has everything. Dog friendly right next to the coastal path and beach, beautiful views. Site and caravans are beautifully maintained nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. Everyone is very friendly and the lady in charge of housekeeping was lovely and very helpful. I asked for a couple of things, she personally brought them to our caravan within minutes. They even have a dog shower right next to the reasonably priced launderette complete with irons and ironing boards. Definitely will be returning here. The lizard, kynance cove, cadgwith bay are all nearby we walked it some days then caught the bus back for next to nothing, stop is just up from the site. Quieter than some of the bigger sites but we like that. St Ives is only 45 mins away.Planning on going few weeks at a time when I retire shortly fingers crossed.

we have just had a 1 week stay at this place.

Our caravan was in a superb location overlooking the sea (helford 61) but this caravan is now showing its age, all the knobs on the cooker no longer have any temperatures showing so you have no idea how high you are cooking, the extractor fan looked pretty dirty, the entrance door stuck and there was a musty/damp smell when we entered. This didnt put a dampner on our holiday but for this reason i cant give this a 5* review.

The park itself was lovely, a lot smaller than other Park dean sites but this is why we chose this. The restaurant food was lovely and typically priced for a holiday park. The bar staff were very friendly and attentive, never waiting too long for drinks whilst ordering on the app, which also works well. The pool was lovely and warm, you have to book in advance to have a swim which is fine. The shop was overpriced by quite a lot, be better driving off site to obtain foods.

The pitch and put and crazy golf both looked good but we didnt bother playing.

There is a beach just a downhill stroll with 2 cafes, also a pub and a great Thai in the other direction.

We will definitely return to this site again, but maybe choose a better spec of caravan.

Went away with my boyfriend and my dog for our first holiday.

Absolutely loved it. The park is relatively small so nice and easy to navigate around and our caravan was poltessco 13 and the partial sea views were so worth the money.

There admitredly isn't much to do as bit out of the way but the coastal walks for us made up for this because the landscape is just gorgeous.

The staff are all helpful as anything and honestly it was 5* service because any problem we had with accomodation or otherwise was sorted pretty much the same day. Our caravan didn't have a dvd player at first and one quick email sent and we had a dvd player just a few hours later.

We spent an afternoon playing pool and eating some absolutely lush food and the takeaway staff are so friendly and the food so good.

Didn't use some of the other facilities but we plan on booking again for october 2021 and making this our regular, yearly holiday.

we have had lots of great family holidays over the last 16 out of 18 years here but it sdens us both how PARKDEAN has let such loyal customers down .
booked in 2019 we had moved our holiday due to start last year in september to this year due to health reasons ,i beacame an amputee last year due to cancer im in remission we moved the holiday to a new accessible cravan for this september on arrival toilet seat broken so had not been cleaned ! human feceases in the toilet around rim, shower drain in wet room blocked with hair and stank and was full of hair!
kitchen fryinf pan greacey ,fish slice dried on food !
bedrooms full of dog hair ,dog treats ,childs book ,dog toy and phone charger found underneath the beds ,
and to our horror dog poo under the sofa flies every night would invade the caravan ,and the stale stench of dog, all carpets are heavly stained .
we complained whilst on our so called holiday and a cleaner came cleaned the living area and bathroom but not the bedrooms. we later found further dog hairs toy ,biscuit and phone charger on the thursday of a weeks holiday we spent ovrt two hours vacuming the master bedroom! the whole bed was covered in dog and human hairs disgusting so you may askwhy did'ent we leave well we had booked a hotel to break up the journey home and its 9 counties away ,home! im disabled and need regualar breaks so going home early out of the question !the site is small the access road is narrow but were use to this, no disabled toilets on site other than the only two which are in the only two accessible caravans and the access in and out of the caravan has a very small room for maneouver using a mobility scooter or wheelchair .we spent most of holiday cleaning a filthy caravan ,all the cleaner apreaded to do was clean the mirrors and make the beds! we asked Parkdean for a fullrefund they refussed offereing us half our money or a holiday to the value of what we payed which bearing in mind was two years ago you cant get a holiday at that price now as holidays have quadupladed in price ! Please listen its got fabulous views thats it the site is not a accessible site ,the caravans are not cleaned not even to covid guide lines and also parkdean supplied a plywood ramp for access homemade not health and safty satandards clearly a company that values profit over looking after thier customers.we stayed in caravan 88 partal seaview stinks of dog and is fly infested !

My partner and I stayed at Sea Acres for 4 nights after booking a last minute trip.

We chose the Helston Park because of its location, it was the perfect base for exploring the south west of Cornwall.

The caravan was immaculate on our arrival and well equipped.

We didn't really use the facilities but we did have a drink in the bar, which was reasonably priced.

Kennack Sands is a short stroll down the lane and its a lovely beach with a cafe and surf school.

I'd say if you were looking to book with kids its probably worth looking at one if the bigger Park Dean resorts as there wasn't much at Sea Acres, which suited us fine.

A few minor things to point out:

I don't think the caravan was overly well insulated. We were blessed with good weather but at night the caravan got chilly and we had to put the heating on a few times!

The TV aerial was a bit hit and miss, there were a few channels we couldn't get.

The resort is near a naval air base which was great for watching the jets taking off when you drove past but on a few evenings there were helicopters circling over the site quite late at night (after 10pm) and they were quite noisy.

A few pointers about the area in general:

The nearest supermarkets are in Helston which is about 15 mins away so worth stopping in on the way if you're coming from that direction. There's a Sainsburys and a Tesco.

If you're looking to visit the infamous Kynance Cove (20 mins away), go early. We arrived at 9am and by 10.30 it was heaving and we left. I'd recommend going early morning for a few hours or if you're not fussed on going down on the beach visit via the south west coastal path which has stunning views of the cove.

Porthleven is nearby (again 20 mins) and is a beautiful harbour town with some nice little shops including Philps pasties. There's a beach and harbour but you can also walk to Loe Bar which is beautiful. Its a very hilly walk (like many in Cornwall) and takes about half an hour but it is so worth it.

I would definitely come back to Sea Acres if I was to take another trip to South West Cornwall.

Hi there, thanks for taking time out to review Sea Acres and supply us with your feedback. I am pleased that you found the park to your liking. It is a beautiful park and part of the world. We have fed back your TV issues to the maintenance team and they have now dealt with the lack of channel issues. As a smaller site it's true that we do not have the facilities of the larger sites but that’s all part of our charm. We are really looking forward to looking after you again at Sea Acres in the future. Thanks. ^DAA

Telephoned the day before to say that we booked a Sun Holiday stating that we are bringing no pets, but were allocated a caravan that had been used with pets in there. We explained that my partner had allergies towards pet hairs, they said they would do an extra clean on the caravan.

The caravan was stinking of pets when we arrived, and animals had been in the bedrooms, they said they could do a steam clean and wrap the furnishings in sheets as it would be damp. They had no further caravans available.

We decided this would not be much of a holiday, and told them we were leaving. They then came after us and said they had a lodge available for £800 for 4 nights, We could stay in a hotel for that.

Wd have used many caravan holiday parks with the Sun Holidays, but would not recommend this one.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. We aim to clean all of our accommodations to an exceptionally high standard including our pet friendly ones, it is disappointing to hear that you felt this wasn't the case. Unfortunately we do ask that guests contact us directly to discuss any special requirements such as not wanting to be in a pet friendly caravan at time of booking, Due to the site being fully booked we were unable to offer you a different accommodation when you contacted us the day before arrival. The lodge was available but would have involved a significant upgrade but when the receptionist asked you to return to the reception it was to look at an early departure of a non pet accommodation that we could have made ready for you to move into. This was declined. We hope that your experience does not deter you from re-visiting any of our 67 holiday parks again in the future.

Booked this with the wife and daughter for a week end of august and we assumed it would be like a primrose valley type resort which u could say it is but like 1/3 of the size.

Resort is a nice resort clean well kept but very little to do after a day as it’s so small luckily We planned to venture out most days to different places which I’m glad we did because you couldn’t of stayed there for 7 days you’d of gone out of yr mind.

The swimming pool was tiny with limited space…

The mini golf was mini lol.. and very poor needed updating…

The bigger pitch and put one was ok but nothing you’d play on again…

The bar area was tiny with not many places to sit if full…

Amusements was terrible and every machine was fixed I reckon u could feed them hundreds of pounds and you’d win nothing!!

Newsagents was ok had most stuff u need for a weeks stay…

Beach was good especially late on if u like biggish waves 🌊 but of a walk back up if u don’t like steep incline but if u take car try park up before car park as they want a fiver for all day!!

Now to the caravan…

Decent modern caravan with everything u needed…

Very crammed tho so not sure worth upgrading to a bigger one if price is good enough….

You could barley wipe yr backside toilet was so close to wall lol…

Shower also blocked up with water and the temperature also got to hot on its own until we found out we had a boiler issue and every time we had a shower the heating came on!

This leads to me trying for days to get the right person to come and find the issue which was a proper plumber not a security guard on night duty because reception closed at 5pm!

So hopefully when we left Friday they went in and fitted a new boiler for the next people..

Couch in caravan was the most uncomfortable thing we’ve sat on apart from the double bed which we spent the first night on and ended up sleeping in the two singles as they felt better.

Also there nothing really that good around this area unless yr willing to travel 1hr every day or stay on the beach all day every day.

Won’t be returning there but would defo go back to Cornwall just different area.

Last week we spent our vacation in the Sea Acres. We rented three caravans. It is beautiful and very peaceful place. Most caravans have terraces with the outdoor furniture. The sea view from ours was stunning. The park is very clean, the walk to the beautiful Kennack beach takes about 10 minutes, but I recommend reaching by car to all who have walking difficulties.
The park has bars and a small restaurant with breakfast. Prices in the restaurant and in the shop are very decent. Sainsbury is about 15 min drive from the park. Very good Management at this park. All our caravans were modern and had a very comfortable mattresses, very well-equipped kitchen including quality microwave, door mat, toilet brush, good quality pillows were there (which I always miss in any other parks). Trips to recommend are St Michael’s Mount Castle, which is about 25min drive, tickets per adult are £14 plus £10 for the gardens and Minack Theatre which is about 40-45 min away with an entry cost of £6.
I highly recommend this park and I look forward to my next stay.

We stayed in a Tregidden caravan that sleeps upto to 3. Perfect size for us as a couple but would imagine 3 adults staying would feel rather small. The accommodation was clean and all facilities were in perfect working order. The work its self offered a variety off amenities and activities and is just a few minutes walk to the lovely sandy beach of Kennack Sands. The on site bar and restraunt isn't the cheapest but offers a variety of food and drinks. There is a cheaper bar just a few minutes walk up the road to have a drink in. Location wise it is perfect to visit Lizard but 30-40min drive if you are wanting to get out and visit places such as St Ives, l lands end or any other places in the east coast of Cornwall. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Me and my wife stayed here for 1 week in July 2019.
Our caravan was surposed to be ready for 16.00....an hour later it was!!
Caravan was well presented with lovely sea views to the rear. There is a large supermarket about 5 miles away and I would use it because it is expensive on site. The roads are tight down to the sight so be cautious on way down.
Plus side; good views, lots of nice walks, shops and places to eat and drink are also on sight .
Negative side : shop etc can be expensive and Wi-fi is practically non existent unless you want to pay for it .you can walk to beach (if your fit ) or you can drive down and park ..recommended! But you'll have to pay for it . Overall it's a nice place to stay but it is out of the way so be warned.

Most of the lodges look over the Pitch & Put and accross the bay with beautiful views. All units have a large decking area. have a lovely stay.

All caravans have parking by the van (most on hard standings). All units have a large decking area some with a gate to secure the dog. We had a pet caravan and found it very clean with no sign of the previous occupier. There is a small parking area at reception for about 6-8 cars. The beach (about 1 mile away) has a pay and Display car park and a couple of nice cafes. Have a great stay.

They generally are home from home with all kitchen equipment needed, you only need to take towels , t- towel , washing up stuff and your toiletries, linen for beds is provided, and Parkdean make the beds up , we love a caravan holiday , tend to upgrade to a bigger one with a veranda if possible. Enjoy.
