We had a lovely stay at Cottonwood Lodge . We stayed in a double room down the hallway. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. The room was lovely and warm as it was a very cold weekend. We enjoyed the continental breakfast provided in the dining room. We had a few drinks with our friends at the... More

My partner and I stayed here for a 3 days and it was perfect. It is in a quite location so you don’t have the afterhours Jindabyne drinkers wandering around and it only took me 45 mins to get to Thredbo. I had read reviews of it being too hot or too cold but I found the room to be... More

Well lets start. 1. The only heating was a bar heater 2. The shower was so small and the showerhead barely trickled water. 3. The rooms are so small and poorly equipped. Our kettle wouldnt even turn off. 4. Was very wet when we were there and had to lug our family of 6 up slippery metal staircase and through... More

Possibly the coldest place we have ever stayed in. For such a small room you would imagine the heater to be able to warm it well. No such luck, from the moment we arrived (and the heating was turned on from the fuse box) to the moment we left warmth was but a dream.

My partner and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip to the snow. At first we were unsure with the motel rooms down a little corridor but, if you are working on a budget then this place offers everything you need for a great price! We had a queen room which was small but fine for the two of... More

The room was stuck in a 1970's time warp. The bed was extremely umcomfortable and the heater didn't work. When I brought the broken heater to the attention of the "owners" they could not fix the problem nor give us any alternatives. The walls themselves are paper thin. You could hear everything from the room next door, including the television.... More

We have stayed at Cottonwood Lodge a few times a year for the past 4 years. What a great place to stay. It's very hard to find such value for money so close to the snow fields!! The owners are very welcoming and there is plenty of room to relax after a hard days skiing! The cleanliness of the rooms... More

For $138/night, you expect things to be clean. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been occupied or cleaned for the last 3 months. The sink was dusty and the floors dirty. The sheets had stains. The walls were paper thin. Unfortunately, the family that stayed next to us had a baby. It cried all night and all morning, so we were... More
