We stayed in Byron Bay for about 4 days. This hostel had great front desk staff and they offered free wifi in the common area every day. For access to wifi in the rooms we had to pay but the connection was great. They offered free meals and activities to do each night which was great and offered ways for...

Stayed at the hostel for 3 nights end of Jan and it was pretty alright. I'm a single female traveller looking to meet people but didn't find anyone that friendly - quite 'cliquey'. This obviously isn't the hostels fault but when I spoke to people living and working in Byron they said Aquarius next door is much better for that....

The staff were very welcoming and there was a minibus to pick up those who had travelled on the Greyhound bus - very good start! We stayed in a 5 dorm in January and were disappointed by how small the room was and that there was no air conditioning. There was only a small fan attached on the wall that...

Best hostel ever!! Me and my sister was travelling the east coast but decided to stay in Byron our last three months because we fell in love. We fell in love with Byron bay but even more in love with this hostel and we just couldn't leave. The staff is absolutely amazing, so kind and helpful and funny. They make...

Best hostel so far. Friendly hand helpful staff, clean and fresh , great atmosphere! Not even 5 minutes walk to the beach and about 30 min to the light house. Or you could rent a bike for free and cruise around Byron your way. Todd is awesome!

I have just come back from my 4th stay at the YHA Cape Byron which was for 7 nights over the NY Period and as usual this place delivered a relaxed atmosphere, awesome people to meet and plenty of fun with the available activities. Meeting fellow travellers is easy here as there are a number of social areas where most...

Hey There, Thanks for your review! This is a very helpful review! Extremely well written and very constructive. Great to hear you're still keen to come back. We do base our rates on market value if you were to compare to Hotels then you might be a little shocked at their prices over the same period. However we will definitely...

This hostel has been my favorite in all of Australia, maybe because the city has been too. The room was clean and the beds soft after 20 days of sleeping in a van. Shame that you have to rent kitchen equipment, we used our own stuff from the van we parked in the tiny garage under the hostel. The pool...

We stayed here over Christmas. It was full of all sorts of international travellers who knew how to party. Having said that at 11pm the Night Manager moved the revellers on down the beach. There are plenty nooks and cranies to go if you want to get way from the crowd. This is a busy hostel and probably need more...

Hey Victoria Thank you for your feedback! We do have alot of international guests in Byron and it can be quite busy and loud over the christmas period! We have permanent staff that clean and maintain the hostel as well as people who work for accommodation, but we are always striving to improve the hostel so your review is much...

We stayed over the new year period and the hostel was extremely loud. The rooms are small without air con so you need to leave your windows open which is a problem as you have to leave the windows open. The decor is run down for a YHA and whilst the bathrooms are regularly cleaned, they are damaged and the...

Hey Bianca Were sorry about the noise during New years period, that time of year is always quite hectic and it can be hard to control the noise with so many people celebrating the new year. The facilities are regularly cleaned and maintained, thank you for your feedback we will do our best to improve for your next stay!

Great hostel for solo travellers! They host a 5 dollar bbq night which is great value for money and a lot of people go so it's a great chance to meet people. The balcony area is a really nice, chilled space. The facilities are good. I was in a 10 bed dorm but it was never too hot or cramped....
