Room was modest but a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. Having the train station across the road was pretty convenient too. The decor of the hotel is charming with lots of old wood and original glass and the dining room did a good job of serving decent food at reasonable prices. It's not a high end hotel but a very...

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel was rather old but with handy parking and I particurlarly enjoyed the old style lift . The unit I was in was on the 3rd floor and while it was dated, I found it quite clean and comfortable. We had occasion to have an evening meal there and found it quite nice and...

Staff very friendly and the food at hotel brilliant. Only concern is it its a hot day/night - the room gets very hot and with only a fan on the roof...

Upon arrival, the first thing you will notice about the foyer is that it is at least 10 degrees hotter than outside. As you climb the stairs it becomes abundantly clear that there is absolutely no air flow. However, do not fret, because things are about to get much, much worse. You will open your door to be slapped by...

Don't come here when the temperature is above 20c as there's no air conditioning. Just fans which are noisy. Quaint lift and small rooms. Even the fridge was hot but a big sign says do not switch off...

No air-conditioning!! It was to hot to move. Just lay on your bed and hope you fall a sleep. In the morning about 6 am a lot of noice from the road. So where some earplugs. Dated room, carpet.. oke for 1 night. We had a shared bathroom and that was perfectly clean! I think they clean it often, or...

Everything was clean, no dusty carpet for example. The hotel is typically oldish and that gives a nice experience. No breakfast here but you can sit in the bar till midnight. There is also free parking for your car.

I use the restaurant as a lunch place on the drive between Port Macquarie to Queanbeyan. Lunch is always great, reasonably priced, huge meals and always comes out fast no matter how busy they are. I would recommend it.

If you are after something simple and not a hotel holiday, then the Ibis budget is perfect. The rooms are small so you really only have space to sleep and use the bathroom, which was perfect for what we were after. I believe they have bigger rooms for a role away bed or portacot, but the queen room was perfect....
