We paid $33.00 a night to spend a night spent in very sub standard caravan park. I personally wouldn't recommend the Griffith Tourist Caravan Park to anyone. We checked out two other caravan parks in the Griffith area when we were there but these parks didn't appear to be much better. However if we were to return to Griffith, I would stay at the caravan park at Darlington Point. Darlington Point Riverside Caravan Park is only 35klms from Griffith. The caravan park is situated on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River at Darlington Point. Unpowered sites are clean, grassed and are only $22.00 a night. Powered sites are $28.00 per night. Darlington Point Riverside Caravan Park is neat, tidy would give you access to a camp kitchen and I believe there are amenities blocks at the front and rear of the caravan park. We stopped and had a quick look at the Darlington Point Riverside Caravan Park and knowing what I know now, how I wished we would have stayed.
