We booked two cabins for five nights. Staff ensured that these were side by side. We were able to check in on arrival which was just after 12 noon. The cabins are clean, tidy and contain all you need. There are two camp kitchens if you choose to use them. Pool is clean and maintained each morning. We have stayed...

Thankyou for your review. Yes, we have a coffee shop open 6 mornings a week for all those that need a heart starter which includes me! The wifi usually works fine but if 100 or so log on at the same time it can become a bit congested for a while. I'm glad you enjoyed staying in our cabins.

These people know how to run a tourist park. Everywhere you look you can see they care for their visitors - from sparkling clean camp kitchens, swimming pool, car wash area and even entertainment. Couldn't fault anything.

All drive through sites, close to artesian pool, friendly staff, level sites and very generous in size. Courtesy buses into town which is handy. Wifi is great and fast. Really terrific facilities here.

Thankyou for your review. Yes, that's a great site in the quieter months being next to the lawn area with good afternoon shade. The fact that you've booked it again on your return trip is awesome.

For something completely different, we visited Lightning Ridge and stayed at the Opal Caravan Park. We chose an ensuite powered sight. A top pick. By observation, this is the pick of the parks in 'the Ridge'. Very clean and great facilities. Only a short walk to the artesian bore baths, and close enough to town. The club and pub will...

Thankyou for your review and extended stay!! The hot Artesian Bore Baths are an amazing facility that the Walgett Shire Council supplies free to all. Being open 24/7 is an added bonus so you can look at the stars at night.

We stayed two nights in a powered site at a quiet time of year. The park is immaculate. Amenities and camp kitchens extremely neat, tidy and clean. We have friends staying later in the year and they will love it. The grounds don't have any grass really but a compressed river pebbles. In photos it looks like dirt but it...

Thankyou for your review. You are correct with the compacted river pebbles as our base. Some people find it hard to get their tent pegs in so you can borrow a drill to make life easier for you. The summers are too hot here to grow too much grass but we do have lawn around the camp kitchen where you...

Manicured in every manner, no leaves dropping stay on the ground or in the pool very long. All of the camp kitchen were fully equipped and clean. Everything is clean up to date, the staff are extremely friendly but not busy bodies, helpful with local knowledge & generous with their time. The local clubs' courteous bus will collect & return...

This place is immaculate! At six years ole it still has that new car smell. Glass shower enclosures sparkling clean pool and a Pizza oven though a pizza cutter was absent but told one was on order. Thermal pool within walking distance. Trees are maturing but a "few" years to go on that. Ensuite sites but the shower blocks were...

Thankyou for your review. Yes, a new 100mm you beaut pizza cutter has been ordered from e bay and is on its way. Tree growth is frustrating with our outback climate, it seems to be either flood or drought and the occasional heatwave thrown in over the last few years. Enjoy the rest of your trip in Oz.

I have stayed here twice. Once camping with friends, and more recently in a cabin for work. It's a little out of town but close to the hot springs if you're into that. Staff are lovely. Pool is a great spot too. Definitely would recommend.
