Their website just simply doesn't do the place justice. We had been wanting to go for ages and took the plunge when we had good friends visiting from Canada. We wanted to stay a few nights but we could only find availability for two -- which was really just a taste! We stayed in the Pinnacle which is massive and...

We had the most wonderful weekend made better by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble at any time of day or night. I love it when everyone looks up and says hi to each other. So if you like superb food, great wine and one of the most serene settings in the world, Bannisters is a must stay. Thanks

Stayed in room 11. The spa bath was great and the little private garden overlooking beach was peaceful. The view from the garden was nice but wouldn't say it was spectacular. It's a typical calm ocean view not the Great Ocean Road spectacle. The bed was comfortable. The room is small and overall little tired. The bathroom floor tiles, toilet...

7& 8 Jan, 2017 - My review is about our experience on arrival at Bannisters by the Sea's "bar" for a pre dinner drink prior to dining at Bannisters - Rick Steins restaurant located beside the horizon pool bar. Our accomodation was at Bannisters Pavillion just down the road - the two properties share their facilities with guests. The night...

My friends have all raved about bannisters so we tried it out. I spent my time questioning where the overly expensive room fee went. No Foxtel, tv had poor reception. No laundry service. Rooms were ok but really aren't anything but special. Restaurant was ok but overpriced. I don't mind spending money on luxury but bannisters is just selling something...

Myself and my fiancé have just spent the most wonderful relaxing week here. We stayed in a spa room and were lucky enough to have an ocean view. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfy. We had room service for the first couple of nights from the pool bar which was delicious, honey baked Brie with crusty bread...

Dear katy m, We love hearing about our guests good times. It's a dream waking up to vistas of the sea - thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm just ducking down to the pool bar to 'experience some honey baked Brie!'. Thanks for the recommendation! Yum!... Rupert Sakora General Manager

Great hotel right on the headland with the most wonderful views. We stayed in a Collette Dinigan penthouse which was very spacious with seperate living area and deck with comfortable furniture - great place to read a book and enjoy a glass of wine! Comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep with the sound of the water as a lovely...

We spent our annual family reunion at Bannisters by the Sea. Our accommodation was excellent as was the service we received. Dealing with a family of 25 with an age range of 4 weeks to 88 year old is not easy but we found the staff went above and beyond to help us. Ian at the bar was particularly helpful....
