Not only does it need a major renovation, it also badly needs cleaning. Arrived at the cottage and the entrance was dirty. Very poor maintenance. Also although wifi is free, you can hardly log on. Don't waste your time here

We stayed in the blacksmith quarters & our room looked as though it had had no work done to it since the 80's. The room was screaming out for a major renovation. The only positive to come out of our experience was that the bed was comfortable but that is as far as it goes. We didnt pay much for...

Booked in and found it a very tired accommodation Our room had a tv that didn't work, we wanted to watch the finals of Australian Open, reading light was not working, tried to ring reception and phone was not working so walked up there and no one was around must leave unattended after 20.00 The whole place needs money spent...

We had a wonderful three night stay in what used to be a stables, now called the Servants Quarters. The refurbishments have been done extremely well and that now offers a very large room, comprised of lounge/dining area, two steps up to a queen bed, separate twin bedroom and large bathroom. Whilst very clean and well appointed, it was about...

We enjoyed our 3 night stay but could not help but think the place was overdue for a major spruce up. The pluses: quiet country location, very handy to Berry, Kiama etc, historical buildings, comfortable bed, room reasonably clean apart from bathroom window, good hot water, generous sized good quality bath towels, wine tastings on site, and big foot trip...

One visit was enough for us. We stayed expecting a beautiful historical winery. Our room was room one in an old cottage that's divided into four rooms. It was very loud and hard to sleep as the neighbours were up. Every time they turned water on it sounded like our room was flooding. Uncomfortable bed, people walking by our window...

We stayed at the Blacksmiths Shops. It was quaint, clean and small. The bed was very comfortable, sheets were crisp and the bathrooms were new and clean. Couldn't have asked for more considering it was reasonably priced.

I have seen more positive reviews about the estate, I guess they had better rooms. I have also seen a lot of negative reviews complaining about upkeep which I agree seems to be a problem but it is an old building. Room was large but lacked features. No cooking facilities. There was a small sink, crockery and cutlery. There was...

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy stunning views over the estate vineyard and the surrounding hills. Excellent food is the perfect match to the locally produced wines. Interesting to visit the historical buildings and relax on the grass. Highly recommended for just a stop and go or a longer holiday.
