We stopped here on the way south from Sydney for an evening meal. I tried the Monday steak special for $12.50. It was tasty and good value for the money. My wife had the beef pie which she enjoyed. It was what we expected from a seaside pub restaurant. What was amazing was the sunset views at the front of... More

Old fashioned room but comfy and clean. Across the room from the Shoalhaven River and view to the beach from the sofa outside the room, or when standing up in the room, or from the outdoor eating area. We were in unit 7 which had a double bed and 2 singles (all pushed against the walls) with flat pillows; you... More

Room was basic but has most of what was needed ( microwave would be nice ), breaky basket was a nice add. Neat & tidy & plenty of room for me & my two dogs. Having the dogs allowed inside was a big bonus & there are plenty of grassy areas for a nice walk. Had dinner at the bistro... More

On holidays! Been there for drinks only. Tonight we decided to eat there. Hmmm! Big mistake! The staff are fantastic! The venue is great! The locals are friendly! But the food is crap!! I'll spare you the details, but I had 2 spoons of my seafood chowder and I pushed it away. My husband is a little more forgiving ate... More

Friday night at the Heads :) terrific relaxed -accommodating good food and wonderful feeling. They have put a lot of work into the building and to the staff as they bend over backwards to make you feel comfy. it is a pub really worth the visit couple of wines and a good dinner and they will drop you back at... Good price for a one night in a serviceable room with basket brekky thrown in. Rooms are basic and need some attention, but you're not paying top dollar. Great location and nice walks nearby, and pub food is excellent.

Working in the area and stayed here overnight. Rooms are basic but still clean and comfortable with everything you need. Hotel staff very friendly and happy to have a chat. The hotel is across the road from the water - beautiful location, would be magic in summer sitting in the outdoor area - enjoying a beer or two. Great restaurant... More

We spent 5 days at The Heads Hotel as we drove from Young on the day prior to the sewing camp starting. My wife sewed, I looked around an area that we used to live in 30 years ago and enjoyed the beauty of the Shoalhaven region. The Heads Hotel is 500m from the camp venue and very reasonably priced.... We found the staff friendly but were disgusted that they wouldn't serve the young people in the only room that our group didn't occupy breakfast as we were all eating ours so didn't seem a big ask to cook for 4 more. There were 17 of us. The rooms were were clean as was linen but very old and run... More
