Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is an absolute dive!! Truely horrid .. and I’m not the fussiest of travellers. I was allocated a room down the back in a section that must be due for demolition. If not, it should be .. small, filthy dirty windows that close only with a hefty shove, badly peeling laminate and scratched mirror in the bathroom, a bed that squeaks with the lightest of movement, glassware that hadn’t been cleaned, and with the general appearance of a place that has been neglected. Really poor value for money. I booked this hurriedly in advance without doing proper research but I now know that I could have done much better .. like driving to the next town.

Stayed for one night while passing through town. Had difficulty finding anywhere else available. Room was very basic, old room. Bathroom get very dirty. Ok for one night though wouldn’t stay again. Close to pubs for dinner.

The Reception staff were so helpful, information and easy to talk to. On arrival, the Manager was so welcoming and helpful. We felt we could have just stayed there chatting to him all day....a top bloke! We booked 2 upstairs rooms which, although the decor was a little dated, the rooms were very spacious, quiet and impeccably clean with everything you would need. It was better equipped than some hotels I've stayed at in Sydney. We wish we had booked for 2 nights instead of one because we missed out on having a swim in the very inviting, sparkling clean pool. We will definitely be back. Thanks guys!!! A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Everything works properly so it’s pretty much ok for an overnight stay. It’s located off the main road going up north and it includes an internal parking as every Motor Inn. The downside is it totally lacks any caractère like many Motor Inn.

This was a last minute booking and we got a budget room for $100. The hot water tap gave only cold water in the shower, the freezer part of the fridge didn’t freeze our ice packs, no cutlery or crockery. Decor was very “budget”. But there was a tv, a microwave and a comfy clean bed, and free wifi. There were two of us and we were given a free breakfast voucher for one!! We’ve had better accommodation for less $$$ and there is nothing special about Singleton that we could see.

We booked this hotel going off their website. On arriving 10 at night, with the key left under the mat for us. When we open the door we could not believe our eyes, it was as if we were in the 70’s. Squashed in beds, bathroom door that didn’t close up, pillow shoved in cupboard with brooms, some light that didn’t work, TV the shoved on stack draws, dust in bathroom m, list goes on. Disgusting & over priced for the night, $132. Could not recommend this hotel as it website is false & misleading.
