We loved house of ullr, and will be going bAck. We had a family room with two rooms, on for kids bunk beds one for us and a bethroom. It's basic accom, but we go to Thredbo to ski, breakfast was loved by the kids. In a great spot too so close to the shuttles and lifts. Recommend for skiers... More

It's located well in the village with a short walk to mall and the lifts. Didn't try the restaurant as it was not open when it was advertised to be. Nobody on reception and hard to find someone for checkin etc. rooms not clean and small. Beds and decor dated for the price you pay. I would not stay here... More

Stayed for 4 nights. Yes rooms refurbished that means only new carpet, paint job and bedding which was good. It is in a great location near village centre etc but for the price you pay I would have expected more. There is no food included - at least breakfast should be at the price charged if not a few meals... More

We stayed for a long weekend (3 nights) in a 2 bedroom apartment that slept 5. Compact but comfortable and surprisingly warm. Location is very good with shuttle bus outside and a short walk to lifts and village restaurants. The food was excellent - both the breakfasts and the Mexican cuisine at night. Pretty expensive at $900/night but that is... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Friendly staff, large room, well furnished. Resteraunt is very good. Great value! Wifi could be better. For 3 star and for the price this place is excellent. Very central location.

Worst value accommodation experienced in Australia to date, and the man running the Front Desk (when open) was truly unpleasant. The location is convenient relative to many other options, and the restaurant is good for breakfast, but this is definitely a property to avoid staying in. The Peak season rate of >A$800 p/night Room Only secures you a "2 room... More

House of Ullr had friendly staff, a convenient location to 2 ski fields (both comfortable walking distance) and warm rooms. I think they may have done some renovations recently and the rooms have an old school charm with modern style. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and the restaurant food was awesome (just make sure you book ahead).

My partner and I stayed here for a week and found it to be lovely and warm even on the coldest nights at Thredbo. The buffet breakfast was great with lots of options to choose from cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit, eggs, hash browns, bacon, mushrooms, they had a lot to choose from. They also do dinners here and one night when... I had realistic expectations about where I was going to stay, so aside from the fact that I was prepared to accept, old, dirty, grungy accommodation....the low levels of service and high levels of attitude really tipped the scales!!!! I am guessing that the licensee has been in hibernation for the summer period and has only just re-entered civilisation... the... More

I arranged a dinner for 14 ppl at House of ULLR. The staff were incredibly accommodating for our groups needs (reserving a great area for our group to watch the rugby before dinner). We had such a great night! The atmosphere is casual and friendly, yet all the staff are efficient and the food was super tasty Mexican. I will... More
