My daughter and I stayed here over Veterans Day weekend. Everything was perfect - we got a full English breakfast as promised, our room was super comfy and warm, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Our hosts Meriel and Bart were extremely kind and flexible - every day, Meriel refilled the cupboard with tea, coffee, hot chocolate powder, and clean mugs....

We had a fabulous stay with Meriel and Bart last week. My Husband and I stayed with our 2 daughters and used the newly renovated 3rd floor room and one on the second floor, Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of the 3rd floor room which was done so nicely. A beautiful bed and very comfortable. These are things that...

We were lucky to find this place open at the last minute for a weekend stay. We have come to Jim Thorpe a few times, but this was our first time staying in the town - And now I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Bart was a gracious host. He greeted us at the door with an offer of wine,...

Absolutely excellent B&B with wonderful hosts. Upon arriving we were offered a glass of wine which was delicious. The room was lovely with everything you could think of and more - minifridge with water, hidden closet housed a microwave, wine glasses and coffee cups. There was a small table and two chairs to share a snack or play a game...

The stay at the Hillcrest was amazing! We have had a great stay here. Meriel and Bart are very nice hosts. The breakfast was spectacular and the stay was very comforting and relaxing! Highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Focused around Meriel's home of England, it is a true English bed and breakfast. Will definitely return to the Hillcrest. Ryan...

My wife and I just got back from a wonderful weekend at Hillcrest B&B. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was for us. We do not normally stay at B&Bs and in the past we have had some rather uncomfortable experiences when we did. This place, however, was terrific. Bart and Meriel made us feel very...

A friend & I spent 2 wonderful days at the B&B. We went to Jim Thorpe to ride the Leigh Trail & needed a place to stay. Thru reading numerous web sites I concluded the Hillcrest suited our needs. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owners Meril & Bart. Bart asked if we'd like white or red wine? I...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and we had a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfasts were excellent, and we loved the hosts. They made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the short walk into town. Yes, the walk is up a hill, but if you are...

Our friends and us stayed at Hillcrest in the Hamsphire and Devon rooms for the weekend. Enjoyed meeting Bart and Meriel who were history teachers of the area and great conversation took place on many topics. We felt just like home with Dusty cuddling up to us as family. The breakfast each day day was a definite lovely experience. The...
