Located in the heart of Jim Thorpe, you'll enjoy romance and relaxation at the circa 1870 Times House Bed & Breakfast, just steps away from shops, restaurants, wine tasting, live entertainment, train rides and more. Delicious en suite Continental breakfast, Whirlpool tubs, electric fireplaces, Tesla Destination Charging Station, free electric car charging, bike storage.
We stayed at the Times House for a weekend. Our room was spacious and lovely. It was actually a small suite with a large living room/bedroom area, a small dining area and a private bath. All rooms are furnished and decorated with antiques appropriate to the era. Chris and Diane, the innkeepers were very warm and friendly and very helpful in advising us about things to do in the area. We enjoyed the in suite continental breakfasts. Diane’s home-baked scones, coffee cakes and granola were delicious. Fresh fruit and yogurt were also on the menu. This is an all around lovely place to stay.
On this visit we stayed in the Legacy Suite at the Times House B&B for the first time. What a wonderful, spacious, luxurious room plus sitting room and bathroom. We loved it! It looks out over Race Street and the view of the mountains is breath-taking! As always, Diane and Chris are the best and can't do enough to make your stay awesome! What they have done to transform this property is amazing. Every time we come there is something new to enrich our stay. And Diane's breakfast baked goods are yummy!!
The Times House, like Jim Thorpe, is a walk into the past. The beautifully restored rooms, antiques, and other decor enhance your visit to this old town. Diane and Chris welcome you making you feel as if the place were your own. The fresh baked breakfasts, made in house by Diane, were scrumptious. We stayed one night in the Overlook Room and five nights in the Legacy Suite. We are excited to return in December 2018 to celebrate Christmas with family. Do yourself a favor, book this for your stay.
We stayed at the Times House - October 8th thru 12th. Quite a different experience for us, since we are accustomed to the typical B&B's. We enjoyed the kitchen and this was an added plus because we could lounge and enjoy the setting much more. The Innkeepers were so very informative and available. Staying at other B&B's they rated up there with the "top notch" Innkeepers we've stayed with before. We always pick places that look like the feel we want, and the Times House met our expectations. Would go back again, and recommend it highly.
the proprietors of times bed and breakfast were the best. Beautiful place, clean and close to main street. Great baked goods for breakfast. visit if you get the chance you wont be disappointed. It was within walking distance to the quaint little town. cobblestone like road. It was like going back in time. Octoberfest was going on in town. We had a wonderful stay at this great Bed and Breakfast

We did not stay in the Overlook room, but I did see it. It is a very nicely appointed room with a private bathroom down the hall. It may be the only room on the third floor ( I am not positive about that), so it should not be a problem unless you need the bathroom several times during the night. All of the rooms in the inn are very lovely and well furnished.

"There are rooms on three floors so you can decide how many stairs you want to climb. Every room is wonderful."
