We stayed in Late November for 4 nights in a Figtree cabin, the cabin was clean and practical, the bbq on the deck came in handy too. The waterpark was hit with the kids other than the private birthday party there on the Saturday that weren't even guests staying at SaltWater. It was overcrowded, unsupervised , and just crazy whilst... More

We booked this in the car the same day we arrived as we were spending two weeks meandering up and down the NSW coast. It's the first caravan park that appears if you Google Yamba caravan parks. It's not in Yamba though... Actually it's a long way from Yamba, you can't work or easily cycle into town. It's a 15... More

Hi Samharvey1, Thank you for your feedback. It's great that you liked our cabins and felt our pricing was good value. Sorry you thought we were a bit far from town. Palmers Island itself isn't a town but an area or small village 10 minutes from the town of Yamba. Very few people have heard of Palmers Island. We try... More

Park hard to find unless you have GPS, although quite well sign posted. Very large park self contained, good for families and children. Not so good for the mature age group. if prepared to travel easy drive to main shopping hub of Yamba and beaches. Lots of walking area. Very friendly staff and park has been upgraded with new facilities..... More

The park's name is a bit misleading. It's not situated in Yamba, but a 12 minute drive away, at Palmer's Island. Which was OK for us, but others might find it too remote. Our 1 bed Casuarina cabin was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet, being set on the outer edge of the park, overlooking some bush.

I went to the park for a long weekend, it was very well preped for young children with activities and a water park. We stayed in a cabin wich was really nice the bathrooms were a little different not having a shower screen, but all in all we had a great time. The only thing I would say is it... More

Excellent facilities, clean and well maintained. Super friendly and caring staff. Huge sites and such a big campground - lots to explore and do. Our kids had a wonderful time - we hardly ever saw them - the go carts, jumping pillow and water park were their favourite! Certainly made our first family camping experience a joyful one we will... Stayed in the Figtree cabins that were well appointed and very comfortable. Own BBQ was a plus and a big plus for us was the ability to make a cosy evening fire with the fire drum and wood provided at minimal cost. One off cost of $20 gave us enough wood for three evenings. The kids enjoyed the facilities and... More

Thanks for the great review Deon we're glad you enjoyed your stay. Having your own camp fire is definitely a popular feature of the park, especially when you can have them regardless of whether you're staying in a cabin or on a site. I'd agree that being in one of the front row of cabins may have been slightly better.... More

This park had been inundated by rain before our 3 day stay but still the staff did everything they could to assist. The park is 14km from Yamba so gives it an advantage of being able to spread out and it does this extremely well with sites circling the amenities. Everything about this complex speaks serenity and if they spend... More

Stayed here for 1 week, the biggest caravan park sites we have seen and no noise after 6pm at night. Although along way from Yamba itself, and the beach, it is a very pretty park, with all sites and roads in a giant circle, with all amenties in the centre. A great water park if you have kids.

Thanks for leaving a review Wazza. The sites here are definitely some of the biggest you'll find anywhere. We have so much space here that we think it would be a bit stingey to try and cram too many sites in on top of each other. As a result you see some fairly impressive camp setups when people take full... More
