To get here is no mean trek...but totally worth the trip. The moment you meet the Solomon island people you will be in love and realise this is how we should be in our busy lives. Relaxed, friendly and nothing is a problem. We travelled with our usual dive group of 13, One non diver experienced her first snorkel EVER.... More

This is a must do for anyone visiting the Solomon Islands. From the moment you get off the boat and step onto the main jetty you are treated with crystal clear water with soft corals that are extremely inviting. If you are a scuba diver than block out a week from the world and immerse yourself in the amazing waters... More

We received numerous recommendations for this resort and it exceeded all that we had imagined!! We were held up in Honiara due to the weather so cancellation cover on your travel insurance is a must, just in case. We reached the island in pouring rain and Jase & Katie were there to greet us with dry towels and a hot... More

Uepi was strongly recommended to us by friends who had been there twice, and whose opinions we value. As it turned out, before we left Uepi we met people on their tenth visit, others on their third or sixth visits. Is any more recommendation needed? We are 71 and 75 years old, and not divers. Our previous experience of snorkelling... More

Lovely place with lovely staff. The main reason to go is the snorkelling and diving so it is not a luxury hotel but a well run place with amazing experiences to be had. Hot showers and better Wi-Fi would be a welcome addition but overall it is a great place.

We stayed a week here and loved every minute. Staff were wonderful, the food was plentiful and well prepared with great variety of seafood- didn't miss meat at all! (I know they cater for specialised diets as well). The diving is amazing- such variety of sea life. We saw manta rays, were buzzed by a pod of dolphins- one of... More

This place books up fast and for good reason. It is well run, offers just the right amount of creature comforts and boasts a house reef that's a wall filled with fish and coral. All the paths are planted in flowering orchids and the grounds are kept spotlessly clean. The managers, Jill and Grant, made our 5 day stay really... More

After eight nights at Wilderness Lodge arriving at Uepi Island Resort felt like hitting the big smoke! It's also located in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands, about a two-hour trip by boat away from Gatokae Island, but much closer to the tiny Seghe Airport. You will be greeted at the 'welcome wharf' by a member of the Kelly... More

We stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed every day. Great snorkelling, plenty of option in relation to this. The food was very good (I love fish - fresh and cooked to perfection), with a nice menu each evening. It was great having the communal dining - met some interesting folk. A good ethically run resort that is considerate of... More

Uepi did not disappoint. Lovely, low key resort, with very comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. There were around 20 guests. (Mostly serious divers) Breakfasts and delicious (mostly seafood) dinners were at the dining room and very nice lunches were brought to our rooms. The snorkeling is fabulous, and I am told the diving is magnificent, with one couple, serious divers,... More
