My wife and I spent two nights at this lovely bed and breakfast just a short distance to downtown Kennett Square. Gilja Kusano is a delightful hostess and her breakfasts are excellent. The house, built of granite, is immaculate and well appointed with a mixture of Brandywine Valley and Japanese art and other items. Gilja can and will glady provide...

I highly recommend a stay at Kennett House. We stayed in the Longwood Suite which was composed of a sitting room, a bedroom with a king bed, and a bathroom with a walk in shower. The room was immaculate and the bed comfortable. Breakfasts, which were varied each day of our stay, were delicious and attractively presented with great attention...

What a gem of a B&B! Thank you, Gilja. This is a handsome stone Arts & Crafts era house, tasteful and immaculate inside & out. The location is convenient to the Brandywine Valley sights, Philadelphia and Lancaster County. My husband and I look for quiet and well ordered accommodations, and we couldn't have been happier. We always got a perfectly...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kennett House. Gilja, the innkeeper, was a very gracious host. The breakfasts were amazing. Just enough food. The house was immaculate and the room cozy and inviting. The Kennett Square historic district is just one third mile away. Beautiful shops and boutiques. Don't miss the Farmer's Market on Fridays. Everyone was very friendly....

This well-maintained B&B is conveniently located near Brandywine Valley attractions (Longwood Gardens, Brandywine River Museum). Our hostess Gilja was cheerful, eager to please, and served a lovely breakfast. Pay attention, however if you are booking a room with a private, but "adjacent" bathroom. That means the bathroom is yours only, but you walk out into the hall to get to...

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at Kennett House Inn B & B in Kennett Square, Pa. Our room had lots of thoughtful extras: robes, high quality linens, well-placed lamps, and it was spotless. The host Gilja took great pride in her breakfast, as well she should. Good food, perfectly served. Comfortable and friendly.

Gilja does a fantastic job of maintaining this grand old Arts and Crafts style home and of taking care of her guests. We thought the breakfasts were great---I can't imagine needing more or better, and she was a lovely host. My husband and I like B&B's and would highly recommend this one to fellow travelers. It is a great place...

No detail is overlooked. The breakfasts are gourmet made with the freshest ingredients. Gilja is a hostess par excellence. We stayed in the Delaware Room,...

This is a fantastic historic home, with many unique features. It's located really well, close to Brandywine Battlefield, right on the edge of Amish country, and within easy driving distance of Philadelphia. The town itself is very quiet and friendly, and the place lends itself to a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The...

We stayed in the Delaware Room which has an adjacent sitting area with TV. Unlike the previous reviewer, we found that it wasn't noisy at all. Since this suite of rooms is toward the back of the house, we did not hear any traffic or noise. There was nice bathrobes, luxury soaps and lotions, along with other necessities you may...
