Had a delightful stay at Porches on the Towpath for a few days for Thanksgiving. First, I would like to say that the entire staff is so warm, friendly and accommodating. They really make you feel welcome. The owner, John, was wonderful...great to talk to and made sure everything ran smoothly. The cooking staff (Red Jen, Bob and one other...

This was an amazing find! John the owner is engaging and helps you to feel like you are staying with family. I won a door prize from Action Wellness (formerly Action Aids) in Philadelphia (where I volunteer) and decided to come and check it out! I have heard about porches numerous times and was very pleased with the location, ambience,...

My wife and I just returned from our second stay at Porches. Our first was two years ago, and when we decided that we wanted to return to the New Hope area again, they were the first people I contacted and thank goodness they had a room! We love Porches and can't wait to go back. Great breakfast in the...

My wife and I are habitual travelers to Bucks County PA in the fall. Always fall/always over Halloween. Bucks County has beautiful fall colors, great antique shops, live music and fabulous food and quaint country B&B's and Inns. Porches is a sort of hybrid with a friendly, accommodating owner, delicious, large breakfasts, tons of antique decorations, comfortable beds, porches to...

While there may be many excellent times to visit New Hope, the fall (September - October especially) is really grand. And while there are many B & B's in which to stay (all quite nice, by the way), I fund Porches on the Towpath to be the most reasonable. This is a quaint historic building with, literally porches wrapping around...

It was an ok stay, but not nearly as good as it could be. The houses, rooms and area are over-full of antiqy looking things...lots and lots of things! All catching dust in the air and makes it difficult to keep things clean. I think they kind of gave up cleaning all but the most used areas at the B&B....

My dear friends recently had their wedding ceremony at Porches and it was magical. The rooms were comfortable and well done, the whole house feels very cozy and warm. The best part is the owner, John, he is wonderful! I felt like I was staying with old friends. It was all wonderful, I cannot recommend Porches highly enough!

I'm here to formally ask all of you to avoid Room #7. Please know that I am doing this entirely out of self-interest, because I want this room available whenever I want it. My fiance and I needed a break a couple of weeks ago, so we booked a few nights at Porches. We stayed in Room #7, detached from...

We had a wonderful time and were treated like an old friend. The rooms were quaint and the porches homey and relaxing. The breakfast in the morning was a nice surprise as it was homemade with good service. We would go back and enjoy their hospitality again.

Just a few dozen steps from the often noisy main street of New Hope is this secluded B&B which provides a quiet and very comfortable retreat within easy walking distance of local restaurants in both New Hope and its New Jersey neighbor just across the bridge. The rooms are situated in four houses at the end of an alley and...
