This has been my go to hotel but my last two trips I noticed some decline in my expectations, a big dissappointment to me as I always try to give Marriott my business. The staff is normally awesome but this time the young man behind the counter was pretty much a jerk. I am disabled and I have always had... More

We just visited for a quick 2 day trip to celebrate a birthday and go to a Steeler game. Front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. Free breakfasts are feasts and the food staff was so awesome. They made special dish for game day against the Cowboys. Front desk staff wore jerseys on game day so it really is... More

The Residence Inn is located directly across the street from Heinz Field, a short walk to Heinz Field & Andy Warhol museum. There are many restaurants and bars located within walking distance. The hotel does also have a shuttle to the local area. You would not need to rent a car if you are taking in downtown Pittsburgh. The room... More

This residence inn is located across the street from PNC park. You can walk 8 minutes to a handful of decent sports bars, but nothing too unique or interesting in the walking area outside of the stadium. The rooms are very nice. I don't typically stay at residence inns and the larger room formats are refreshing. Everything about the room... More

I knew this hotel would be great before I even arrived. I called the day before to asks for some requests for my grandmother. They said all would be no problem. Every staff member always had a smile on their face. At breakfast I felt like I was at a restaurant because the kitchen staff would come out and talk... More

The hotel is convenient to downtown with easy access to highways. The rooms are quiet and reasonably maintained, but showing some signs of age: the carpet in the room I last stayed in had a half inch gap between the carpeting and tile for bathroom. Service was exceptionally slow on missing hotel amenities.

We stayed at the Residence Inn on Oct. 20 - 22 and stayed in a 1 BD suite. The suite had everything we could want. Nice size separate bedroom with the sink outside of the bedroom with tile floors. The toilet and tub/shower combo were separated from the sink area which was a nice design as one of us could... More

The staff at this hotel were very hospitable, accommodating and just plain nice. I really can't say enough good things about how they treated me as a guest. The room was great too. Highly recommend this hotel - better than a lot of "full service" 4 and five star hotels and an excellent value!

This is most of a thank-you note that I wrote to the hotel manager after our stay. The hotel staff went "above and beyond" for us. This is Marriott service at its best. Dear Meg, We had the pleasure of staying at the Residence Inn North Shore October 7 to 9 and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. We were in town... More

Such a great location if you are in to watch a Steelers game. Second year in a row and booked a suite (hide a bed and King) for myself and two grown sons. Suite still spacious enough for the three of us and well kept and clean. Breakfast serving crowd: Nikki, Erik and Victor were kept pretty busy during breakfast... More
