My husband and I are repeat clients of the Brownstone and will always go back when in the area. Mark and Brenda are amazing and very welcoming and the breakfast is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend :)

Found ourselves in the area and wanted to spend the night. We contacted Brownstone and were fortunate that they had rooms available. Arrived in the evening, but had easy directions to follow, and once there, Brenda showed us through the inn and gave us choice...More

Thank you for your inquiry. We are an 18th century restored sandstone farmhouse, nestled in the country on 7 acres. We are surrounded by several farms and less than a mile from some state game land, also about ten minutes from Middle Creek Wildlife Preservation, where you'll find Canada geese, snow geese and an occasional bald eagle. Deer, pheasants, turkeys and quail are plentiful, although since we have two dogs and a cat on premise, we don't often see them. One time another guest, who was a professional painter, stayed with us and sat on a hilly area behind our neighbor's barn and painted landscapes all day long! There are many scenic landscapes and wildlife all around us, yet we are close to antique shopping, and historical and cultural attractions. Please call us today if we can accommodate you: 717-484-4460. Thanks,
