This B&B is just over the bridge from Newport RI. It is a quiet and clean and has a very friendly owners. The breakfasts each morning are made to order. This was now our 5th extended stay at East Bay and our opinion of this fine B&B has not changed. It is a beautiful B&B with delicious breakfasts and evening treats. Paul & Diane even accommodate my wife's gluten allergy.Everything about East Bay is first class. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, quiet and nicely appointed. As for Jamestown it is... More

We spent three nights and didn't want to leave. Diane and Paul were the perfect hosts being friendly but not overbearing. Breakfasts were delicious. Our room spacious, comfy and so clean. One of the best B&B's we have visited. A perfect location to explore Jamestown and its historic parks and we thoroughly enjoyed walking to the ferry at the end... More

My husband and I just finished our third stay at East Bay Bed and Breakfast and were once again impressed by this lovely little B&B. Both the rooms we have stayed in have been immaculate and very comfortable, with many thoughtful amenities, like an in-room fridge with bottled water provided daily. Both beds were wonderfully cozy (where does Diane get... More

We have stayed at East Bay twice now and loved our stays. The location is perfect just a block behind the main street located on a quiet lovely street within walking distance to the main street, shopping, restaurants and the harbor. The hosts are wonderful, Paul and Diane. They make you feel welcome from the moment you meet them to... More

I love the B&B concept, but so rarely find one that combines the promised charm with a comfortable room and the amenities I expect. Well look no further. East Bay's Narragansett Room is spacious, comfortable and quiet. Never heard other guests coming or going and had everything we needed. Jamestown is an adorable off the beaten path town and all... Diane and Paul are fabulous hosts at this quaint Jamestown B&B. You are treated as if you are family right down to the homemade cookies and brownies left in your room daily. Forget the mint on your pillow. You get a ghiradelli. Chocolate each night. Clean, spacious and quaint. All rolled into one package. But wait. It gets even better... More

Second time we were fortunate enough to secure lodging at East Bay. Paul greeted us at the front door and our rooms were ready, cool breeze coming through the shaded windows. Sheets and towels to die for (ask Diane for the particulars). Butter makes everything better at breakfast, from grilled banana bread (trust me, you will want more) to English... More

Why spend $400+ a night for Newport, when you can stay here, park for free, and take a marvelous ferry (buy your tickets from the inn keeper -- to save) to Newport (with several drop-off and pick-up points, check schedule) from just down the road? The rooms are excellent, breezy, and meticulously kept -- free WIFI; each room has its... More
