We so enjoyed our early Valentines get away at the gorgeous B&B! Very romantic! We stayed in the Eastlake Suite & our window view looked out onto the beautiful water front. We enjoyed getting to know the owner Mr. Binot at the complimentary wine/cheese social each evening. The breakfast each morning was wonderful! The best tasting grits we've ever tasted(& that's...

An amazing old home with a superb location and view. I was in the Mariner Suite with a very private entrance, great patio with lovely wicker furniture and a stupendous view of the bay. Both the sunset and sunrise were marvelous. I had an issue and injured my wrist the day before and the staff could not have been more...

The Cuthbert house built around 1810 was a lovely one night get away before the hectic tax season begins. The Federal room overlooking the river was very charming. Wine and cheese with the owners was a delight. We had a quiet and peaceful nights sleep and awoke to that lovely river view. The breakfast was on the ordinary side but...

Can't think of a thing we would have changed. Our four night stay was most pleasant. The food, the staff and the room (Federal Room), were exceptional. The room is in the front of the house, which is on Bay Street, so we had a great view. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda just outside our room at the end...

The staff was welcoming and very helpful, the owners were gracious hosts. There is an an unknown as far as the exact date the house was built but the dates range from 1790 to 1805, needless to say a very old historic house. It is quite large I counted 7 or eight rooms for guests, it may be more. We...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay after Christmas. The food was excellent - we loved the afternoon happy hour and the owners were extremely welcoming. We stayed in the Hideaway room - nice and private and a lovely bathroom!

We loved the inn. The historic waterfront inn was beautifully decorated and centrally located, with fine service and amenities. Our room the Eastlake Suite was exquisite. I borrowed their bike and enjoyed touring town, especially the Old Point neighborhood. We have wonderful memories of Beaufort and Cuthbert, and we look forward to a return visit.

We stay at the Cuthbert house every year. It is a gorgeous place with a cool history. The new owners are very friendly and accommodating. The social hour includes wine and snacks. The house is walking distance to downtown Beaufort. The upstairs rooms share a great balcony and the guests all use the downstairs porch. We've never had a bad...

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Ed and Connie were extremely friendly. They made us feel like we were home. Breakfast was a pleasure every day and the social hour was an equally pleasant time. We learned a good deal of the history of Beaufort from Ed. We will definitely book...

We decided to stay overnight at Beaufort on Christmas Day when all shops and restaurants were closed. Staying at Cuthbert House was the only thing that make our visit to Beaufort meaningful. The 215 year house is very beautiful, well maintained and almost spotless. We stayed in a large Garden 5 room which has two double beds. It has a...
