Stay here whenever we are in Charleston. Very nice, reasonable accommodations. Has a concierge that is very knowledgeable and helpful. A real plus! Located close to good sights and restaurants. Make sure you have a reservation as it often fills up based on its location

I reached out to the concierge, Andrea, a week before our stay. She was excellent! She booked a walking tour for our first day. This made it easier for us to get around the city the rest of our stay. She also gave us valuable information regarding the best places to eat, the different plantations to visit and other local...

The hotel was very nice, sort of in the middle of lots, but a 10 minute walk anywhere. People were very nice, and the concierge gave us some great ideas. Right across from the AME church. 10 minute walk to Market Street. Only a block from all the action on King Street, but not the part of King street that...

I normally view the Courtyard brand as a more economy version of the Marriott label. While the appointments here may be a bit less fancy than the Ritz, the service, from the bellman, to the desk staff to the concierge, was impeccable and equal in every way to the finest hotels. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else on my next...

If you visit the Courtyard Historic and don't visit the concierge Kevin M., you've wasted your time. Sorry, that's incorrect. If you don't visit Kevin, you've wasted your life in general. Kevin created the perfect weekend for us, complete with amazing restaurant reservations, kayak trips, cemetery walks, and he even took us on a wonderful private walk. Anyone going to...

Great location in the historic district of Charleston! Short walks to many of the city's great restaurants. I had never stayed at a Courtyard Marriott before, as a platinum elite Marriott, I was underwhelmed by the hotel itself and its amenities. I chose based on location. The hotel is very clean, has attentive and courteous staff. I would have been...

Hi SuzNC, Thank you for being an Elite member and taking the time to review our hotel. While I'm happy to read you enjoyed our location, cleanliness, and attentive/courteous staff, I'm disappointed your first Courtyard experience was extremely average. We take great pride in our guest satisfaction so I appreciate the feedback. If you're travels bring you to Charleston again,...

We were pleasantly surprised with the high quality of all aspects of this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service at reception was warm and helpful, and our room was spacious with a large shower and vanity area. The 2 room suite with a balcony is worth the extra cost, as it's on the top floor and very quiet....

After having a rough flight and getting sick, checked into a room that had a very unpleasant smell. Moved rooms, front desk at the time of check in was pleasant. Rooms are in need of some touch up, housekeeping needs to pay more attention to details, but I would like to thank Connor for going above and beyond. I was...

We had a fairly last minute opportunity to visit Charleston and stayed at this hotel based on advice from a friend. The location is wonderful to enable walking to most sights, but the Concierge, Kevin McQuade made our trip unforgettable. We sat down with him early on a Sunday morning and within minutes, he had asked a few questions and...

Perfect location without a car. Walked to everything. Restaurants etc. Thought the staff was wonderful, helpful, and kind. You come out of hotel hang a left and then the decision. Should I go right for restaurants and bars or should I go left for shopping.
