We chose this wonderful B & B from the terrific reviews received on Trip Advisor. Everything other guests said were right on the money. We were warmly greeted by Anneliese, Jack, Martha, Lee Ann and of course, Franny, the dog! We felt right at home from the minute we were welcomed by Anneliese. Their home is beautifully furnished and comes...

The owners of this wonderful property, Jack & Annelise Simmons were so gracious and helpful. Having grown up in this house Jack has a wonderful knowledge of this beautiful city as does Annelise. The house is charming and well appointed. Wine, beer, soda and other drinks were offered along with cheese and crackers on the piazza where you can chat...

In a word, wonderful. We went on the recommendation of other TripAdvisor reviews, and made a reservation at Jack & Anna Leigh (sp?)'s B&B. The (slight) risk was well worth it. All the positive reviews on the B&B are spot on. We loved the location (right in the middle of South of Broad), with incredible homes and architecture all around...

When we arrived in Charleston we were impressed by the buildings and none less so by this wonderful B&B. The house is beautifully furnished, with everything a traveller could need. Jack, Anneliese, and Martha (not forgetting Franny the dog) go out of their way to make you feel welcome, with welcome drinks, great breakfasts and some good tips on where...

Take a 150 year old house in great shape and amazing history, add a couple who seem to have all the qualities for running a B&B and throw in a wonderful property manager for good measure and you get a perfect weekend. We visited Charleston for my wife's birthday last weekend with our 1-year old and everything was perfect (well,...

Charleston on its own is a delightful place to visit, but Jack and Annelise Simmons, along with Martha and Frannie, have made our trips so much more memorable. This was our third stay at the Phillips-Yates-Snowden House, and it definitely will not be our last! From the moment you enter their home, the Simmons make you feel welcome. We chose...

Dear Jack, Annelise, Martha, Leanne, and Frannie, I would like to thank you for having me and for making my trip to Charleston an enjoyable one. Before I embarked on my trip I said that I wanted to experience the city. Reflecting on the past week I feel that the goal was achieved. This was not because I saw or...

My sister and mother stayed here for 2 nights in July -- just a beautiful B&B with such nice people who make you feel at home the moment you step inside. Martha was our main point of contact. She was a gracious host with wonderful recommendations on where to eat and what to do. We had afternoon wine and cheese...

Such a lovely B&B; so nice to stay in a residential neighborhood in a real Charleston historic home. We stayed in the Carriage House and enjoyed its spaciousness and charm. The location is great; we were able to walk almost everywhere. But it's the hospitality that takes this inn above and beyond. The social hours were so much fun! Although...

When you think about a visit to the South, one word comes to mind: Hospitality. Jack and AnnElisse Simmons treat their guests with hospitality and courtesy from the moment you arrive at 15 Church Street. My wife and I were celebrating our 5th anniversary in Charleston, and we were greeted like welcome family members by AnnElisse upon our arrival. This...
