I stayed at The Boardwalk Inn during March 2019. I was interested to see what would be on offer in the local area... but there really isn't anything! Barely anywhere to get food or a good coffee. I felt a bit stranded. Additionally, Wild Dunes were performing works to the area.

Went during late March. Weather unseasonably cool - outside of hotels control. However, resort felt like a ghost town. Bare minimum shop and restaurant open. Without pool or beach there are no kids activities. Left resort for every meal. Construction next door is

Construction banging woke us up every morning @ 7am. Screaming children across the hall. Worst hotel ever! The walls are so thin prepare to hear every noise. This is not “beachfront” when it’s a 15 minute walk to the ocean.

Plenty of beach access within walking distance. I could see the beach from my condo - there was a private boardwalk connecting my condo area directly to the beach.
