Explore the beauty of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from Marriott's OceanWatch Villas at Grand Dunes, an oceanfront resort with spacious accommodations. Our two-bedroom villas offer modern comforts and conveniences just like at home. Your family and guests will appreciate the separate living and dining areas, and full kitchen - great for meal preparations. Enjoy on-site amenities such as dining, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pool, or take a stroll on Grand Strand Beach. There are plenty of activities for everyone.
We had a girls long weekend here, and everyone was impressed with our 2 BR Villa. I find it is still very clean and well maintained since my last visit here. They were doing the beach revitalization when we were there, but everything else was open.
Even in the off-season we found plenty of adventures. Day trips to Wilmington, McBee (amazing cobbler/pie shop), Fayetteville in search of local history and museums. Prices everywhere were reasonable, food was good and people were very friendly and helpful.
We are owners at this resort, but haven’t been in a few years because we have been using our points to travel to other places. We just got back; this is still one of the nicest resorts we’ve been to. We stayed in the Scallop building, oceanfront, great view, beautiful villa. A special thank you to Tony at the Sand Dollar pool bar, where we met some great people.
We came here the week after Thanksgiving, stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean view villa. The resort is well maintained and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. I will come back in the spring when the weather is a little warmer. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is thinking about trading in here. They have a children's activity center plus outside children's play area by one of the pool's.
well now, sad to say but there are work crews day and night installing some sort of pipeline on the beach. The past two nights you can hear the backhoes and alarms going on on the beach while inside your room at the Marriott. They even have bright construction lights. Work goes on 24/7. Large pipeline sits on the beach.
Best to call the Marriott before you book to ensure this is all done, before you come unless you don't mind the eye sore and noise.
Of course, besides that, the Marriott is splendid as always.
