We had a meal here two evenings running. the welcome was so friendly, the ambience delightful and the owner was so willing to help as my Mother is vegetarian, - quite hard in France!! and she was very willing to accommodate. The meal was rustically lovely and we went back for a second night. Delgithful

We had a celebration meal for six at lunchtime and then stayed overnight in their Violette room. The Ferme Auberge is clean, authentic and very friendly, the food was first-rate. Breakfast was continental style and delicious. The warmth of the welcome was lovely and when we stayed there were French and German visitors. It is in the country but so...

Quiet, clean and full of character these cottages are situated on a country lane among green fields but only a short drive from the historical town of Fougeres. We stayed there for one night only on our way to cherbourg but would happily have stayed longer if we could. Rory

We stayed here one night en route from the coast in Loire Atlantique up to Le Havre. We had a lovely welcome from Stéphanie and a great dinner cooked by her husband. The location is handy for Fougères (we visited the castle - highly recommended). We stepped back into a past world of courtesy and a slower pace of life...

We stayed here for one night en route to the south of Brittany from Calais. It was charming. The welcome was warm, the family room comfortable and the food great. A really lovely start to our holiday. Thank you, Stephanie!

Ok, so you don't get a TV in your room and there's no wifi. So the room we stayed in was small and very simple. But. What friendly reception. What lovely location. "This is where the road stop", the landlady said. And so it does. The 'gite' is set in farmland and the building dates from the 16th century. They...

The Ferme de Mesauboin serves up the perfect farm stay for anyone looking to experience old-timey country France. The accommodations are a bit spare, yes (not the most luxurious bedding and no TV), but we were looking to spend a calm night in the countryside with homemade food fresh from the farm, and this didn't disappoint. Our dinner consisted mainly...

Set amidst corn fields, this Breton farmhouse dates back several centuries. A sustainable experience in every since, this working farm offers comfort, charm and fresh produce at an unbeatable price. Dinner available in the dining room includes poultry you just heard clucking simmered in cider made from the crushed apples from the trees you drove by, with which you wash...
