We arrived after hours and found our map of the park taped to the door. Even in the dark we could see there wasn't much to the park. Someone else described it as a dirt parking lot, and that is a very apt description. Still, when I went in to settle up in the morning, the staff were very friendly....

My friend and I have been on a road trip and needed a cheap place to call home for the night. While we were looking at the different options near I-90 in SD, we were impressed by all the great reviews Kennebec KOA had. We had a night time arrival and the "check in" process was the smoothest I've experienced,...

Nice level RV sites, clean showers, friendly staff/owners. Pool was refreshing but with some debris. Flies were super annoying when trying to cook outside. Game room with pool, ping pong and foosball. Close to I-90 but still very quiet... and you can see all the stars in the sky!

Our family of 5 tented here overnight during a road trip. The campground is close to the freeway, and well located for overnighters. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and very friendly. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The tent sites are grassy, but the parking and driveway are a bit rough. This area seems to...

Level camping pads. Great buffalo burgers at the chuck wagon, but a little pricey - $10 but included chips and baked beans. Very NICE campground hosts. Not a lot of mature trees. Restrooms are clean and tidy.

We were on our way to Canada and somehow we'd never been to this KOA before. We tow a 13' Scamp, no kids or pets. Place was very clean with a well maintained pool. Quiet. Easy access sites. Memorable even just for 1 night; we'll return. Rest rooms spotless. Staff very professional. This is the kind of KOA that makes...

Just as everyone said, this is a great place to stop on your way out to the Badlands/Mount Rushmore. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and it's great that they run a little Chuck Wagon that serves pancakes in the morning and burgers at night. The restrooms/showers were clean and well-maintained, and my kids were thrilled with the pool...

Small campground but well taken care of. The staff was very nice. Restroom facilities nice and clean. At night a dinner of hamburger and hot dogs is offered and a pancake breakfast in the morning. The pool is nice and there are A few things for kids to do. There is nothing to do in the area so I wouldn't...

We stopped here on our way through and stayed one night. Very friendly staff. Clean facilities. Plus internet worked amazing! It was a very peaceful campground with excellent RV lots. The grass is nice, fire pits are unique, and overall very nice!

Manager was very friendly when I contacted him late one night to book a site. Campground very easy to find, very close to the interstate. Manager recommended dinner at nearby steakhouse which was great for us and our four young children. Nice clean campground. We were self contained so I can't comment on the facilities. Good place to rest your...
