First time at a Bed & Breakfast has set the bar high! Vintage house with modern amenities. Common areas for relaxing. Each room has its own unique style and bathroom. Wonderful breakfast customized to guests. Would highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights after I found this place as one of the top 25 romantic destinations in MidWest living. It was absolutely idyllic. We stayed in the attic suite which is so closed off from the rest of the house you feel as if you are the only ones there. The angled roof of...

My husband and I stayed for two nights while we were looking Sioux Falls over as a possible place to move to. John and Sara are delightful hosts - make you feel right at home right away. And Lily (the dog) and Tiger (the cat) are great greeters too! We stayed in the attic suite - very large and comfy....

Discovered this beautiful old home outside of Sioux Falls on a cross country trip. My wife and I took a nice walk in the afternoon through fields and visited with a herd of charming cows. Spent the night on a cross-country drive. Very happy to find a comfortable place to stay. I had my choice of rooms, charming, very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast and owner even fixed my glasses, what more could one want.

We were two couples who stayed 09/07/15 on our way out west. John and his family were gracious and welcoming. The home has an interesting history and has been beautifully furnished and decorated by the Steevers. Breakfast was incredible! After staying here, we were even more sorry that there weren't rooms available for our trip back home.

I found my room and en suite on the second floor very comfortable. Booking was friendly and I was contacted ahead of time on the day of may arrival to make sure I would find my hosts at home. The towels were amazing - very fluffy. Breakfast was tasty with an exceptional omelette. It's definitely worth a stay.

I had a short business trip to Sioux Falls, South Dakota and needed a quiet place to stay. I found the Steever House Bed and Breakfast online and decided it looked like a good spot. After staying there, I can confirm that my pick was a good one. The house is beautiful--recently expanded--and is very comfortable for a single traveler...

Hight recommended! The attic room is beautiful and with amazing two-people bathtub! The photo of the bathtub is not on their website. But trust me it is amazing! They have free wifi, water, washer and dyer that you can use. Plus, the dog here is cute. Anyway, I will totally stay here again if I travel to sioux falls again!

Not only did we get to stay in a comfortable bed in a charming room in a beautiful house on some peaceful, sprawling property and pet the sweet, well-mannered, pink-toenailed dog who never barks, but Mr Steever makes a MEAN breakfast...AND he shares his recipes! Warm, friendly, clean, comfortable, and affordable. Would go to Lennox again just to stay there.

“Reserve early as there are only a few rooms. All of the rooms are good, but the Attic Suite is exceptional (and a bit higher priced).”

“Attic room with king bed and large bathroom is by far the biggest and most interesting, but don't hesitate to take one of the lovely queen bedrooms either! Each room has a private bath - all connect to the bedroom except the yellow room which is down a short hall.”
  • Private bath for yellow room
  • Blue Room - very pretty - bathroom has clawfoot tub/shower
  • Rose Room - lovely with view toward the front of the house
